Pablo from Patagonia Hero helped us to organise a trip-of-a-lifetime to walk the W in Torres del Paine. We were a group of 15, mature in age but not necessarily in behaviour as our refugio bar bills show. Pablo was well organised, knowledgable and very responsive, always able to answer our many questions in the run up to the trip. All his arrangements worked perfectly and we loved our guides and porters - all selected by Pablo. We’re very happy to recommend Patagonia Hero who helped us create an unforgettable trip.

I read a lot of great things about the company online but unfortunately didn't have such a great experience ourselves. I went with 4 other friends to Torres del Paine to do the W Trek in Nov of last year and we worked with Latisha from Patagoniahero to book our trek.

Overall the trip was incredibly beautiful, the accommodations were quite comfortable, the food was great and it was truly a great experience with good friends, including some we made along the way.

While the trip was good, the experience working with Latisha unfortunately was not. We chose the company since they are highly reviewed, but throughout the entire prep stage we could not get clear answers on specific packing questions we had (ex. after a lot of back and forth we were told that pillows would be provided in our accommodations, but they were not for 4/5 of the locations so we didn't have any for most of the trek) and getting info was like pulling teeth - the only concern was them getting their payments asap. We had sent over 75 emails back and forth over the course of months and still we did not feel prepared for the trek as we were about to leave. I had to give Lathisha multiple calls in advance to nail down the long list of questions we had. This was frustrating and unnerving for such a big trek (traveling from Canada to Chile for this trek so there were a lot of logistics to nail down)

Another big miss is that the day prior to the trek Latisha and her teammate giving the pre-trek briefing told us that our stay in one of our accommodations was changed to Cuernos, but mid-trek when we arrived at Cuernos after hiking all day, they did not have a room for us and we had to hike another 2hrs to Frances who apparently was holding the reservation.

After returning from the trip, we were told that these errors would be looked into, particularly re: the stay at Cuernos, and that we'd hear back shortly, but it is now 6mos later and the only time I've heard from them is marketing info for more trips which I think speaks to the care they give their customer's experiences.

While it would have been a little more leg work to book individual accommodations within the park ourselves, we learned that this would have been vastly cheaper and for my part, we would have felt much more prepared and I don't believe we'd have the same hiccups.

Once again want to highlight that Patagonia is incredible and the trip as a whole was fantastic, but this experience really is not what we expected given the price, the errors made, and the effort that still had to come from us to plan the whole thing so unfortunately I would not recommend booking here.

My wife and I spent 7 days in Patagonia I'm April 2024. We worked with Raine as our main contact to set up the trip. She is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. All of our questions were quickly answered. A few items came up during our trip and she resolved them all to our satisfaction. We spent time at Estancia Lago Pinto (amazing family run ranch, went horseback riding and had an amazing lamb dinner), Torres del Paine day trip, overnight excursion to El Calafate Argentina to see Perito Moreno (absolutely worth the 5 hour bus ride each day), and did other smaller day hiking. Raine and Patagonia Hero were amazing partners for us!

It was an awesome hike. Rafael was very helpful with the arrangement and logistics of the trip. Romano was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable with the trails and history of the park. However, there were a few hick up with the tent sites for the first two nights and the hotel at the end of the trip. My diet restrictions were not communicated properly. All issues were addressed properly though.

I am late writing this review, but I need to say what a fantastic time (Feb 2023) we had on our 2 week Patagonia adventure. Pablo and Ivan were top notch! Everything was seemless, with great accommodations. I recommend Patagonia Hero whenever we talk about our trip.

Led by Pablo from Patagonia Hero, we embarked on an extraordinary 11-day adventure through the stunning landscapes of Patagonia National Park, exploring Chile’s iconic W loop and Argentinian Patagonia. Pablo's expertise and meticulous planning ensured a seamless experience; from our initial inquiries to every step of the trip, he was always available when needed.

Our adventure was enriched by the exceptional knowledge and enthusiasm of our guides, Christobal in Chile and Danny in Argentina. Their passion for their homeland was evident as they shared insights and showcased the wonders of the region.

Traversing this blessed terrain, we encountered a myriad of weather conditions, from sunshine to rain, heavy winds, and cloudy days. Despite the unpredictable Patagonian weather, each day brought new wonders, including majestic peaks, dense forests, pristine glaciers, and tranquil lakes.

On average, we walked approximately 18 kilometers each day, with some days involving significant elevation gains of up to 1000 meters. Despite the physical challenges, the sense of accomplishment and the breathtaking vistas made every step worthwhile.

Connectivity was limited throughout our journey, with Wi-Fi available for purchase at the Refugios in Chile. Charging points were only accessible at the reception areas. The food, common toilets, and shower cubicles were average at the Refugios. Staying in the tents initially came as a shock, but we grew fonder of the experience by the end. Check with Pablo for beds in dormitories or rooms if you prefer those. In Argentina you will come back to the hotel every night after the hike and the hotel picked by Pablo is excellent.

In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Patagonia Hero for those seeking a reliable and unforgettable adventure in this awe-inspiring region. This was truly a journey of a lifetime for us."

I booked Patagonia Hero to organize the five day W Trek, along with all pickups and hotels required for the duration of the trip in the Natales/park area. Everyone was extremely punctual and professional and delivered as expected or better. It’s extraordinarily straightforward to do the W solo if you book a company like this to handle all of the logistics. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable tour company.

We booked our Patagonia O-Circuit trek through Patagonia Hero and was definitely impressed with the arrangements and communication. Sancha De Klerk was very helpful and communicative throughout the entire process. This was an all-inclusive booking as they arranged all transfers, accommodations, and meals throughout the trip. It was very convenient and hassle-free. We also met with Rafael before the start of our trip to go over the itinerary and the trek circuit.

My husband and I had a perfect trip trekking the O Circuit. Sancha answered all our questions promptly and helped us plan a great trip. Once in Chile, Pablo met with us to go over all the final details of our self-guided hike. Everything was easy, well planned, and stress-free. I highly recommend Patagonia Hero for their superb communication, attention to detail, and helpfulness. Thank you Sancha and Pablo!
