We went here to fill in a little time one afternoon and while it wasn't great it did hold our interest. You can get to handle firearms if that is your thing and overall it was a pleasnt hour or so. A bit overpriced at $5 a head when ther are 4 of you.

I walked away from this with a very different world perspective...this goes over the weapons of war, the key players, the implications, and tragedies in an open walk through area. Extraordinarily sad if you dwell on it but will give you insight into the Cambodian people and their history. My wife made it only to the first stop on our... More

An experience not to miss. An excellent guided tour approx 30 mins and then you can wander for as long as you wish. Just $5 entrance fee plus a donation if you wish for the guide but no pressure. Very very informative regards history and politics of a very complex country. Our 12 year old son loved the hands on... More

Despite its humble, low-budget nature, this open-air museum is essential viewing, if you are at all interested in post-Angkor Cambodia. It is essentially a monument to the unfathomable suffering of the people of Cambodia, and their resilience. We were moved to tears of humility and horror as the young, matter-of-fact guide (a guided tour is imperative, otherwise it's just a... More

The War Museum Cambodia is a must see if you are visiting Siem Reap. It is in a lovely shady setting. Be sure to get a local guide when you arrive who will take you around the displays before leaving you to wander on your own.

Don't expect all sing and dancing museum such as in Saigon but this out door museum is built on a former land mine site and is well worth a visit. Only 5$ entry and the tour guide is free (only need to tip). Ours was very informative and had interesting personal stories as his grandfather had been in Khmer Rouge.... More

Being ex military, my wife and I found the museum to be very interesting and well worth the visit. So much so that I felt the need to read up on the history of the Khmer Rouge to re-educate myself on a lot of what I'd forgotten over the years. There's not a lot more I can add to the... More

Cambodia has a lot of modern war history to see. This museum gives an insight into a small part of it. As you enter the vehicles are laid out like a war graveyard and the trees give it cool feel. To the right there is a large Russian helicopter and small jet. Next there is an exhibition of weapons; AK47,... More

Rich educational history of Cambodia Khmer rouge crimes and war. Relics like bombs, mines, guns, tanks mostly from Russia. Takes about 60-90 minutes with tour guide .
