The Royal Residence is quite small but an attractive building. The public are not allowed to go inside.

As it's not open to the public and is relatively small Royal Residence you just get to enjoy the facade (and the Buddhist temple over the road)

Anyone can drive by this place and see it from the outside we did it on bicycles the Royal activities outside that day maybe you will be that lucky

The view from the road suggests a very nice holiday home for the king. However that is all you can see as his majesty doesn't allow visitors inside. Opposite are the palace gardens which you can visit but although they are quite nice, beautiful trees...More

You can't enter, so what you see in the photos is pretty much it. There are some bats in the trees nearby in broad daylight which is pretty cool I guess. We were harassed a lot by beggers unfortunately. We also had a guy walk...More

We drove pass and if the guide did not say it's a royal residence, I would have though it was another government building... It's such an inauspicious building consider its a living and operational building used by the royal family when they visit Siem reap
