Nature eventually reclaims the land and so it is with Ta Prohm. The walls have been standing for 8 centuries and yet the vast trees are taking over and causing a fusion of man and nature which has been used on numerous films and documentaries including Tomb Raider. No sign of Angelina Jolie on the day we visited though.

It is not in very good condition. You can see very old and big trees on the walls, roofs etc. There are many old trees,

Ta Prohm is the site that we were most excited to visit. It's also vastly popular due to the Tomb Raider movies. But it's actually a much much smaller site than Bayon or Angkor Wat. Not much to see there but the two or three photo spots. They all have wooden decks built around the photo spots. And people just... More

My favorite temple. So many nice places for pictures, for wondering around. I went there twice while I was visiting Angkor.

When tourists arrive in Siem Reap, and pay visit temples in Angkor Park, Ta Prom is MUST visit. It is not very far from Angkor Wat, visitors can arrange half day trip.

This along with many other temples is excellent. If you want to see where some Indian Jones Scenes were filmed, this is it. It really is incredible how the trees have grown right Through the buildings. Really a must see!

Another one of the must see temples. Can get some great photographs here. The crowds are small in comparisson to Angkor Wat but still one of the busiest temples.
