One is never enough to visit this temple just once in their life. Because of many mysterious room, relief, and details to be explored. One word to say about Angkor Wat : amazing. Best visit : sunrise and sunset time

I've always wanted to come here and I had planned 3 days just to visit, but after the first day I said enough. I just wish they would limit the number of people that can enter at a time. And note it's under construction at the main entrance so the initial view is obstructed and will continue for years as... More

I recommend doing the opposite of the usual tour (sunrise at Ankor Wat followed by other temples) because based on my experience, it's SO crowded since most (if not all) the visitors are doing the same route/tour.

Angkor Wat is a massive temple complex that is on a massive scale. Be ready to do a lot of stair climbing and walking when you visit. The stairs can be uneven as are many of the walkways. We opted to do a sunrise tour that included getting up at 4 AM and walking up hill in the dark for... More

This would undoubtedly be the highlight of any trip to Cambodia! Angkor Wat is the largest temple complex in the world and is a marvelous piece of architecture, dating back to almost a thousand years. The view at sunrise and sunset is very beautiful!

Of course there's lots of people in the early hours of morning, of course you'll read bad experiences or reviews about it ; what I've to say is that waiting for the morning sun to pass over this wonder of human architecture is just a unique experience: open your eyes and enjoy the beauty and the hundreds people around will...
