Beautiful and well preserved ancient 11-12th century temple. Some repairs and rejuvenation were in progress during my visit
One of your bucket list destinations or must see's..tour in early mornings e.g 7-8am as there will be little crowds. Travel there by Tuk Tuk as there are traffic jams a lot and Tuk Tuk's can pass most cars etc.
Angkor Wat was built in the first half of the 12th century (113-5BC). Estimated construction time of the temple is 30 years by king Suryavarman II, dedicated to Vishnu (Hindu). Entry and exit to Angkor Wat can only be access from its west gate.......
Woke early to see the sunrise, expect crowds but most people courteous and happy to let you stand in front for a minute to get the perfect picture, a Japanese tourist kindly let me stand in front of him.
