The buildings were gorgeous and so much work has been put in to restoring them and making them accessible. A must see!

Angkor means capital, wat means pagoda. The was the heart of a huge civilization and lasted centuries until it declined... A privilege to walk back in time!

Been going to Angkor Wat for many years. I enjoyed it more when there were less tourists but it's still a place to come and see amazing carvings and sculptures.

You haven't visited Siem Reap if you haven't visited Angkor Wat! What a breathtaking sight to come face-to-face with the ancient temple itself! I would recommend getting a guide so you can appreciate its magnificence and the ancient Khmer key figures who were behind it....More

We went with a guide going over the moat temporary bridge which is like a pontoon bridge while they fix the original causeway. Once on the other side, you enter the garden with very few shade trees, unlike most of the other temples. We left...More

This is one of Cambodia's best-known temples, and it's worth the accolades. Such a magnificent structure! Well done to the Cambodian people and many supporting, partner organisations for repairing and maintaining the structures, even with the vast numbers of tourists who visit each year.

To enjoy your visit to Angkor Wat thoroughly you will need to do lot of walking and climbing. I would not recommend taking a baby or toddler to visit this ancient site.
