There are no words, you must see this and other Angors around the area. Bring water and hat and go from back of temple (not overcrowded). Also start early in the morning.

Fabulous! Worth the hype!!! Missed the queues by going there in bicycle with a guide. Much more than just Angkor Wat. More impressive than the Taj Mahal.

Is has got to me one of the places to visit in a world! So much history, so much beauty! Prepare to spend hours there, very popular thing to do to either go for sunrise or sunset but get there early, as there are a lot of tourists. You can either book excursion from Siem Reap. Alternatively take a tuk-tuk,... More

Angkor Wat is an incredible place and probably on most peoples must see lists. It is however, vast and busy. We were very lucky that we had found a good tuk tuk driver a few days previously who soon got that we didn't do 'tourist traps' etc. He advised us to go when a lot of the tourists would be... More

Waking up before dawn to see the sunrise wasn't what I've expected. The place is so busy at that time that you can't see anything but a lot of selfie sticks around you. Be prepared for a long queue at the ticket office and a lots of walking. Even though this is not my favorite temple, it's worth visiting.

Fantastic visit with local guide. Very informative. Markets and sellers at most temples. Wear comfortable shoes and dress correctly.

Angkor Wat, a world heritage site, is the amazing temple of Cambodia. He is located more or less than 8 km away from an ancient town of Siem Reap. This temple is a best place for seeing sunrise. My family has just visited the temple and it amazed us a lots. If you plan to visit this temple or other... More

A amazing experience that will needs to be handled while you have plenty of energy and the weather is not enervating. It is a most extensive site with a excellent deal of uneven walking, up and down stairs and usually very full of visitors. Getting said all that, one can walk around the periphery, prevent the crush of the narrow... More
