"Smile of Angkor" is the first grand Epic daily show that revives...

"Smile of Angkor" is the first grand Epic daily show that revives the Angkor dynasty in all aspects. It's the most worth view show in Cambodia. From foundation to prosperity, tale to folk customs, past to present, Smile of Angkor expresses the original culture with the highest technology

It's a splendid performance directed by the experts of the Cambodia Culture and Fine Arts Ministry and the director team of the Closing Ceremony of 2008 Olympic Games.

It's a legendary show that revives all the myths from the reliefs of Angkor Temples with our grand stage and the brightest stars.

There is a buffet at the venue to allow you to dinner before the show. A small and cosy restaurant is dedicated to the individual visitors (non-group) but be aware that it s a huge buffet for Asian group so don't expect for food and Western standard level. But you will be able to see all the nationalities of Asia and to taste differents foods : Khmers, Vietnamese, Korean... Be aware that during the high season there should have so queue for the bbq which know a big success.

During the show you can not take photos or videos.

We wish to welcome you

The show was really nice. The show is in English and they have subtitles in different languages (Chinese, Japanese etc.). Colorful costumes, nice plot, traditional dances. Would recommend it especially to a family with kids. The show lasts approximately 1,5h. The ticket without the buffet costs 25$. Including the buffet it was 37$.

The worst and more expensive in Siem Reap. Too many people. Bad food. Look for the regular and cheaper Apsara show.

I should have read the reviews, but when you go to a country you are unfamiliar with you tend to believe your hotel staff. ANYHOW, arrived early 530 to eat, like any American I love a good buffet. This was not good, when asking staff what things were they just giggled. (Fine, don't expect everyone to speak English but maybe... More

Started out by having dinner next door which was nothing special and would not recommend it, best part of it was our driver gets free entry to eat which I didn't mind since he would be waiting for us. The show itself has parts that are good while others seem like they don't have any relevance at all. Unfortunately for... More

So far I have never given 1 star rating on any rating platform in my entire life until I was convinced by the driver to watch Smile of Angkor is. Digusting buffet, tedious performance, audienceship with absolutely no manner plus largely varying ticket prices (from 18$ to 38$ at different vendors) making u doubt how much this show is really... My partner and I, to my fault as I stupidly listened to our airport taxi driver... I immediately like a fool had it booked up and paid for before we even got to our hotel! (Sucker!) Well, we went to the show, picked by our 'taxi' lad who said that he eats for free there and the good is good!... More

This show gave a taste of the history and culture of Siem Reap. It was amusing at times, but the use of lasers, the dancing, acrobatics and costumes were all very impressive. We booked a package which included a meal before the show- this was buffet style and was more catered for the Chinese/Korean palate and we didn't know what... More

We went to Smile of Angkor on a recommendation when we asked to see some traditional Apsara dancing and were very disappointed. The buffet was okay - lots of different options with plenty of things for vegetarians. The show just wasn't good. A hodgepodge of dance, some marital arts and even a contortionist - just all very lacklustre. Even with... More

The buffet options were excellent before the performance, but the show was a disappointment (though you could tell the performers were trying their best - the fault here is with the choreographer/director). The music was overblown to extreme proportions and was far too loud, synth and at times painfully out of tune. A couple of acts within the show saved... More
