"Smile of Angkor" is the first grand Epic daily show that revives the Angkor dynasty in all aspects. It's the most worth view show in Cambodia. From foundation to prosperity, tale to folk customs, past to present, Smile of Angkor expresses the original culture with the highest technology

It's a splendid performance directed by the experts of the Cambodia Culture and Fine Arts Ministry and the director team of the Closing Ceremony of 2008 Olympic Games.

It's a legendary show that revives all the myths from the reliefs of Angkor Temples with our grand stage and the brightest stars.

There is a buffet at the venue to allow you to dinner before the show. A small and cosy restaurant is dedicated to the individual visitors (non-group) but be aware that it s a huge buffet for Asian group so don't expect for food and Western standard level. But you will be able to see all the nationalities of Asia and to taste differents foods : Khmers, Vietnamese, Korean... Be aware that during the high season there should have so queue for the bbq which know a big success.

During the show you can not take photos or videos.

We wish to welcome you

Our experience was that it was like a tourist "babysitting" spot, where we are dropped off for a few hours to eat and watch a show. Questionable as to the authenticity of Cambodian culture on display (e.g. booming loudspeakers and gawdy lasers in the show). Also unsuccessfully delivered any sort of sensible narrative about the history of Cambodia, which it... More

The food was just so unaccepted. I would have to suggest my friends never come to this place. Overcharge what an average show and quality of meals.

The buffet is huge but very Khmer/Asian cuisine so we did not enjoy it very much. The show was spectacular with amazing dancing and wonderful graphics. A nice night out.

My suggestion is to see the first show, and to avoid the buffet, instead reserve dinner in a fine place.

I bring group tours to Siem Reap every year and for awhile was looking for a dinner and aspara dancing evening tour to offer my groups. When Smile of Angkor opened several years ago, I thought it would be a promising/entertaining evening. The production tries hard but misses the simplicity of traditional Cambodia culture by trying to use lasers and... More

Before going for a show i read the comments here and went there with a lot of scepticism. To start from dinner:If you are asian there will be plenty options and food is good.Western style foo just forget about it,better eat somewhere in the city and come straight for show.Seats A and Seats B:unless you get the A Seats very close... The show was really nice. The show is in English and they have subtitles in different languages (Chinese, Japanese etc.). Colorful costumes, nice plot, traditional dances. Would recommend it especially to a family with kids. The show lasts approximately 1,5h. The ticket without the buffet costs 25$. Including the buffet it was 37$.

The worst and more expensive in Siem Reap. Too many people. Bad food. Look for the regular and cheaper Apsara show.

I should have read the reviews, but when you go to a country you are unfamiliar with you tend to believe your hotel staff. ANYHOW, arrived early 530 to eat, like any American I love a good buffet. This was not good, when asking staff what things were they just giggled. (Fine, don't expect everyone to speak English but maybe... More

Started out by having dinner next door which was nothing special and would not recommend it, best part of it was our driver gets free entry to eat which I didn't mind since he would be waiting for us. The show itself has parts that are good while others seem like they don't have any relevance at all. Unfortunately for... More
