If you have any concern about animal welfare or empathy with animals then you will not want to visit here.
Crocodiles are kept in pens that are obviously too small as the poor creatures are stacked two or three deep in places. The water is virtually stagnant. You can feed them if it makes you feel any better but if you have any doubts about the future of the animals just visit the leather goods store next door to the farm.
We had asked our driver to take us somewhere for a drive in the morning and he chose to take us here. I have no problem with local customs and culture but this is one visit I do not want to remember and we left within 5 minutes of getting there.
The ‘staff’ make no attempt to explain anything; they simply sell you the entrance tickets, leave you to walk yourself around the very small site and get ready to greet you in the leather shop. They seemed amused that we found the whole experience disgusting.
I guess if you want snake, crocodile, stingray leather goods and have no conscience then you’ll love it! It’s 10 minutes of my live I’ll never get back.

While the tour of Tonle Sap and Kampong Phluk was fascinating, the floating restaurant on the lake is pretty disgusting with its crocodile farm. Hundreds of baby and adult crocodiles are kept in a disgusting small pen. If you are at the restaurant, please do not promote the farm by buying products or observing these poor animals.

It was an interesting tour, for us it was self guided, but it was ok like that. We wouldn't mind to see by our selves.
We were worry about the reviews, but the smell wasn't that horrible as they described and the thing that there are so many crocodiles in one place, all I can say it's not a zoo.
The food was great, well cooked and nicely spiced.

I read the reviews but my drive to experience the country for what it is didn’t put me off.
Yes, the place is run down but that’s the guys house. He is a commercial croc farmer & does to me seem to have a reasonable set up out the back. I agree if he got a skip to clear all the rubbish it would look far better.
Maybe we went on a lucky day , we were the only ones there & $3 seemed a bargain. The guy was very passionate about every aspect of his business & was happy to answer any questions.
There was a fairly large tank with around 100 3 week old crocs. Then a pen with 30 fully grown ones, 20+ years old.
We too got to hold a 2 week old baby, which was a great experience.
He said he’d just sold a big batch of babies to Thailand, so he must be doing something right?
I get everybody has an opinion but if you’re visiting a commercial farm in a county such as Cambodia, you’re not going to be seeing welfare standards that maybe you’d get in the Western World.

I was amazed at the crocodiles there were many , and it was a tad smelly but I was so taken aback at the finished product at the shop , including a nice price tag .
Crocodile bags and stuff just isn’t my thing but for those that are will love it .

Stopped here after a day of touring. As we were customers there was no admission fee. Shop is well lit and arranged according to type of item. Barter and negotiate to get the best prices! This is not a zoo! This is part of a industrial manufacturing process. There are lots of animals in pens in the rear of the complex. Crocodiles in and purses, wallets, belts out!

We were charged $8 per person for admission. The place is so poorly kept that as soon as you walk in, there’s a huge pile of trash next to their water well (which also has trash thrown inside). There are no signs as to where to go. The alley looks like residential buildings so we didn’t know exactly which place to walk into. During our visit, we saw the workers capture the crocodiles so that they may be transported to be sold in the city. The way in which the crocodiles were dragged and then bound was heartbreaking with their arms and legs tied behind their backs. In order to keep the snout closed, a workers has to step on the crocodile’s head and then use about 10 rubber bands to bind the mouth shut. You can see the crocodile struggle to break free, still trying to slither with its arms and legs tied back until it gave up and just waited for death.
The enclosures has too many crocodiles in a small area. The place was so poorly managed that even the store where they sell leather goods had no staff and the lights were off.
One good thing I can say is the lady who sold the ticket was pretty nice.

As a family we were charged US$21 (2adults/2children) to see 2 small enclosures with hundreds of crocodiles). It was a self guided tour that took no more than 10minutes to complete. Very underwhelming and overpriced!!

Very disturbed by this experience. The conditions the animals are kept in are truly horrible. It's an overpriced, sad and disgusting place. Would not recommend.

Les sacs en croco vendus sont ils en vrai croco ou tout simplement de belles imitations en plastique ?
