Dr. Beat Richner has dedicated his life to the children of Cambodia. On every saturday at 19.15 Dr. Beat Richner is playing Cello and telling about the current situation of his hospitals in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. They also show a movie where you can see how the hospital works and they explain what kind of diseases they treat.... More

Dr Beat is a very inspiring and courageous person. I was deeply moved by the moment he shared with us. This man dedicated his life to the Cambodian children. Waste less on restaurants for 2 days and make a donation... the doctor is doing a wonderful job!

This is held every Saturday at the Hospital. Dr. Beat Richter talks about his story and also plays the cello. It is really inspiring, you will walk out as a different person,

If you happen to be in town when this is on you should go there. While it is not a real "show" it is very interesting and you learn something about Cambodia that you would otherwise not hear about. Beat Richner is a Swiss doctor who has committed his life to the health of kids in Cambodia. He has huge... More

A highly recommended evening that showcases a remarkable Swiss doctor's commitment to the health and well- being of Cambodia's impoverished children. This awe-inspiring man has somehow been able to build five hospitals that provide Western- standard care to millions of suffering children who otherwise would go uncared for. He presents his work interspersed with melancholic cello pieces that seem to... More

Dr Beat Richter himself plays the cello, and meantime tells the story of the children's hospital. He speaks frankly not avoiding his difficult relationship with the Hun Sen regime, the hypocrisy in institutions like the WHO etc... Free, but value for money!

I have been living here for almost 6 years but never thought to visit Beatocello. I was then given the chance to go last Saturday and we watched the concert of Dr. Beat Richner. It was very inspiring to know what he has done to the Cambodian people! So, if you are traveling, this is a MUST to be included... More

This is a 45 minute film. Not a concert. Very moving and 100% worth going. Take cash to donate, as you will want to once you've seen the film and understand what the French man has done over the last 30 years for Cambodian wellbeing and medicine. Incredible!!

The free concert is held every saturday at 7:15 pm. Dr. Richner/ Beatocello is a Swiss pediatrician who helped build a lot of Children's Hospital in Cambodia. During the 1-1 1/2 hour concert- he will play the cello, talk about the poor health care system in Cambodia and how everyone can help by donating money or blood for the kids.... More
