Not as busy as other temples. Smaller and not as distinctive as some of its neighbours!
Still worth stopping by. Still interesting - notable bas reliefs over the archways.
Few other visitors.

As I have already written in a previous review, you definitely should stop for Wat Thommanon on your way to Ta Keo and Wat Prohm.
This Temple, Chau Say Tevoda, is situated less than 100 meters south of Thommanon.
So if you are there, take another 10 minutes and jump for a short visit.
But only if you are not already beginning to be tired and if the weather allows for it of course, as you wouldn't want to be exhausted for the last Temples and Ta Prohm (liquid trees of the Tomb Raider movie) in particular.

Chau say tevoda temple lies just east of victory gate and angkor Thom. It is definitely worth a quick visit.

Another Hindu temple dedicated to Lords Vishnu and Shiva! Built in between the 11th and 12th centuries by King Suryavarman II, "Chau Say Tevoda" is a small temple and stands among the best examples of the classic "Angkor Wat" architectural style. Images of Shiva, Parvati, Apsaras, bulls and monkeys are depicted in outstanding bas-reliefs. Buddhism, years later, was introduced by King Dharanindravarman and "Chau Say Tevoda" displays carvings of both Hindu and Buddhist religions. "Chau Say Tevoda" is just opposite to his twin temple of "Thommanon" and near "Angkor Thom's Gate of Victory". Take your time and visit both twin temples, although "Chau Say Tevoda" is in a much worst condition if compared to "Thommanon". Enjoy!

As for very humble tourist, it is not top attraction as person diving deep into history. We stopped there as it was on the list for small tour circuit after seeing Bayon, rather appreciated lunch break before visiting both of small temples

Nothing much to see but get the overall sense of the Angkor ruins. Gets confusing which are temples and which are residentials of the ruins. I know not all are temples. And without timelines, not sure if Buddhism and Hinduism co-exist during these all or ...

Chau Say Tevoda and Thommanon Temples are neighbors. Thommanon is the more intact of the pair and is more interesting in my mind but both are great. Chau Say Tevoda is a small but highly decorated temple (like a chapel in scale.) It's not on the highlights tour but it's well worth a stop if you can spare the time.

Chau Say Tevoda is a Hindu Temple built in the mid-12th Century. Access to and around it from the car-park is relatively easy with flat access of a mixture of dirt & grassy land, however do watch out for the exposed tree roots that appear fairly regularly, especially in the dirt exposed sections. If you have good sized front & rear wheels/tyres on your wheelchair this should present no more than a small obstacle challenge to you. If able to, you can climb the wooden steps placed at this temple to venture inside but there is not alot to see here as it is a relatively small temple. There are no handrails on the wooden stairs. The outside presents with interesting architecture along with signs informing visitors of the temple's restoration project . Great panoramic view photos can be taken from in front of this temple. An easily accessible temple for all levels of ability, in my opinion. It is indeed an exciting and thrilling experience to be able to be up close and personal with such ancient history and incredible architectural craftmanship!

The temple has been extensively restored and it shows. I am not sure it really works but the technique used deliberately shows the replaced stones.
Despite its rather small size a lot is crammed into the available space. It has four gates, two libraries and a long causeway supported by columns leading to a large terrace.
Almost everything worth looking at is on the gates - the eastern one particularly.
Worth a look if you have time.

This temple is next to Thommanon. It is good place to visit depending on mood and time. Very good for taking photographs with feel of khmer architecture.
