This place is not magnificient as the angkor vat temples, but is part of them. Is "small" but really is good option, not many tourists, You can see this good restauration, is better than others.

This is not near to other temples, but worth to see the history behind. We should see all temples which are open to public and try to understand the logic, art and culture behind this. Not to be missed this.

Each of the smaller temples in Angkor Wat has it's own uniqueness and something that makes it worth it. Pay attention to the carvings and small details!

If you have taken the 3-day pass, this temple should be in your itinerary. nothing special. Do take note on the carvings that are also different from the large temples.

Banteay Samre should be on your short list of temples to visit in the Angkor region. Beautiful temple and grounds. Fantastic bas reliefs. Uncrowded.
