We visited Banteay Srei and Banteay Samre on one day together with an afternoon visit to Tonle Sap Lake. Banteay Samre is beautifully restored and gives you an opportunity to take good pictures without the crowds of Bayon and Angkor Wat around you.

We saw this temple on the way back from Banteay Srei. It has beautiful engravings and really worth seeing.

You ever read a draft version of one of your favorite books, or the demos for one of your favorite albums? That's Banteay Samre. It feels like a rough draft of Angkor Wat. It's beautiful and fascinating. And hilariously, the previous main entrance just ends...More

Really I got lost in exploring those ruins. But I dont get bored, at all. This ruins and another ruins has different color, not painting, but what comes from mold and weather gave them different shades.

Unlike the other temples which are overcrowded, this temple had a peaceful feel which was just as equally amazing. Over a thousand years old but still you can see the foundation and outline of the temple.

The main attraction of this temple is that it is reasonably quiet because most of the big tour groups do not stop here. Although it was restored in the late 1930’s it is in a generally poor state of repair. It has some nice pediments...More

Banteay Samre is my favorite temple because it look like Angkor wat ,was built the same king (Soriyavaraman 2) the most intelligent king in Angkor complex.
