From our hotel, the Chobe Safari Lodge, we were taken by boat to Kasane immigration to exit Botswana, then across the river to the Namibian office. Here you have to walk 300m up a stony and muddy track (wear suitable shoes) to the immigration office. We were then taken by boat to the Chobe Princess 3. The Chobe Princess 3... More

a cruise through the Chobe river was a memorable experience. We saw many animals. Predominantly elephants and buffalos. The game viewing ended with a spectacular sunset.

The guide are very knowledgeable and I guess I was lucky because not only did I see elephants, hipppos and a heard of buffalo at Sedudu, I saw a heard of the rare majestic sable antelope. When I used the photo of the female on the my what's up profile picture the comments from friends made me realize how rare... More

We spent 3 hours cruising the Chobe River. This whole area is beautiful. The landscape, river, scenery and wildlife all make up a stunning picture. We came in close proximity to a crocodile and water monitor lizard, a Fish Eagle, loads of hippo and loads of elephant. Seeing the Elephants grazing in the river was something I had never imagined.... More

We spent two nights aboard. You are taken to it by tender and any disappointment at its external appearance disappears the moment you step on board. Lovely welcoming crew, light, airy and comfortable ambience on the upper deck and we were lucky to have a cabin at the stern with double aspect picture windows, one looking over the stern and... Great way to see the wildlife from the river. Loads to see, crocs, birds, hippos, buffalo, elephant, impalas to name a few. Plenty of opportunities to take loads of photos.

We spent 2 nights on Chobe Princess and very sorry to go. It was wonderful. You see beautiful sunrises and sunsets. You also get to see an abundance of animals. We saw a leopard strolling along the river bank. (They say it was the first time in over a year that a leopard has been seen) We saw plenty of... More

We saw a lot of elephants and experience the most beautiful sunset. The drinks were good and affordable.

We took a two night trip on the Chobe Princess and were looking forward to cruising down the river and watching the wildlife at the rivers edge. But the boat moved for maximum three hours each day spending the rest of the time moored at the river bank. We disembarked into small boats for wildlife tours but there was little... More

On first sight of the Zambezi Queen river boat it did not look particularly impressive, but on boarding from the tender it became very obvious that this was something special. The bedrooms, all en suite, are on the bottom and middle levels and the bar, lounge, dining and viewing decks are on the top. The décor was chic, modern and... More
