Something needs to be done about the amount of rubbish at this site. I was extremely sadened by the lack of respect that people seem to have for the environment. In addition, people have graffitied all over the rocks of this hill, and I saw...More

A must when in Copacobana as it is on your doorstep and provides wonderful views inland and of the lake. If short on time I suggest booking a table at La Cupula for 7pm which is close to the trailhead. Start the walk at 5:30-6pm...More

Climbing the hill could be tiring but in the top you can see all around Copacabana. It takes some time so must be planned. Recommended for young.

This is a moderately strenuous 30-minute pilgrimage up the mountain, ascending to 13,215 feet. It was very worthwhile, and our view of the city and Lake Titicaca was incredible; Peru is visible across the bay. Christians, as well as those of Andean faith hike to...More

Cerro calvario reaches the 4000masl and it's a strenous hike up but you reach it in about 30 min. from the town centre. On the way up you pass by the 14 crosses which show the story of Jesus's way to getting crucified. Sadly some...More

After a 40 minute hike, you'll get the chance to have one of the best views of Copacabana and the lake. The hike may be tough if you suffer from altitude sickness, so be sure to take your time, take some water, and drink a...More
