Some people say Bolivia is the center of Latin America. Well Plaza 14 of Septiembre is at the center of Bolivia. You can imagine all the political ideologies and protest that have started in this plaza. You can actually hear some people with megaphones making...More

A few years ago parts of Plaza Principal were closed to traffic. The result is a more tranquil space, and safer pedestrian interactions. Best to avoid during political rallies, the sight to the Condor monument is soul-stirring. THIS is the breathing heart of Bolivia, if...More

A nice spacious 1 block plaza (100m x 100m) with the Cochabamba Cathederal on one side and government buildings on the other. Lots of shade and well planted with mature trees and some spectacularly large Hybiscus trees.

Visited here and was given such a great history lesson and greatly appreciated the lesson. So yes great history but awesome landscape. Shops and eateries absolutely wonderful. Will be returning on next trip.

The plaza exudes history of what the city was like 100 years ago. Quaint benches exquisite trees and flowers neatly manicured and people string by. It's amazing at nigh when it's all light up. Definitely a must see

A beautiful plaza with renovated surrounding buildings dating back to the 19th century. The square is well lit at night and crowded during daytime, featuring cholitas selling food and sometimes musicians.

Historic, important, must see! Loved the architecture and the plaza. Little Indian girls sing and dance for Bolivianos.

The whole plaza was decorated when we arrived. They overdid it with all the lights and designs! It's beautiful to walk around however you should be careful with pickpockets.
