Finding Bab's dock was quite a challenge but we were really glad when we finally did. Exciting activities - swimming, canoeing and sailing. Really good food as well - I had fish (well spiced) and chips.

Bab’s Dock is a beautiful European styled restaurant tucked away at the edge of the lagoon in Cococodji (11km from Cotonou). Almost everything at this charming lake house is made of local wood. The property can be accessed either by road or by boat which...More

Went here on a weekend to get a few drinks and enjoy the bay. The location listed on Trip Advisor is misleading as it is about 30 minutes (by road) away from Cocodji. The townspeople in Cocodji had never heard of Bab's Dock so we...More

Great and very exotic place to visit in Cotonou. Ideal to relax and have a good very fresh fish food. The prices are a little bit high compared to the country but very moderate for a tourist (I doubt Benin will have a lot unfortunately)....More

Very good destination for a day with family and / or friends. Artificial island but very natural vegetation and warm frame. I always enjoyed going there. Attractions for children and adults, respecting the environment. Meals and beverages on-site. It is a detour that deserves to...More

After a gentle boat trip, we had lunch here and chilled for a few hours, very nice. It was part of a guided tour to Ganvie (the floating village) again by boat.

Great food in a relaxing atmosphere. The prices are no higher than central Cotonou but the adventure of getting to the dock down the mostly unmade roads (Land Rover or high axle vehicle would have been much easier) then the boat through the mangroves and...More

What I hatttttte about Bab's Dock is that he has trapped an alligator in an enclosed cement pit with no nature at all. Not only no nature, but it's disgustingly filthy. This poor being is imprisoned for the sake of people being able to "view"...More
