Enjoy this excellent ride in a magnificent lake. Be sure to check the schedule before you go because the boats are not very frequent.

Worth getting the 20 Euro day ticket, so you can get on and off at any of ferry stops. The paddle steamer runs at certain times during peak period, and started 8th July this year (2017). There is an additional charge for this.

A wonderful excursion from Salzburg. The lake is beautiful, surrounded by mountains and there are plenty of eating joints around the lake. Its a picturesque site, a must visit when you are in Salzburg. Much better views than the more popular Hallstatt lake

The half hour bus ride from Salzburg was comfortable , warm and reasonably priced - we'd been worried about nausea- inducing winding roads and vertiginous heights , but the roads are pretty much encased in the hills and the roads relatively straight . A quick...More

One of the most beautiful places on earth. The water is crystal clear and tastes better than any commercially available drinking water.
