There was plenty to do at our Bed and... More

We went for a Sunday afternoon drive on highway 72 thru Arcadia Valley. One of my favorite places to see in this area is the rock wall along Lake Killarney. The views are just awesome! I believe this wall was built by the CCC.

SUCH a beautiful little valley with lots of small towns. I know now why the residents of Arcadia Valley are so home town proud! They should be! Whether you're here for the history (or the rumored hauntings), for fishing the rivers or floating (even archery at one of the conservation areas), the scenery, camping, horseback riding, floating and kayacking, the... Great place to take sidewalks. Swim at Johnson's Shut in, old civil war battle field, Elephant Rock park. Just tons of things to do. Great places to eat. The whole valley is full of charm.

This is a beautiful area and within an hour you can visit 5 state parks. Tons of trails, mountains, St Francis river, historic towns--lots of beauty. Dont miss Thee Abbey restaurant and Elephant Rocks Park--2 of our favorites!
