Discover classic boats, grand hotel and resort history, fishing memorabilia and much more. The Legacy Gardens, on the Museum's campus, showcases beautiful landscaping, water features, walking paths, gazebos, and quiet alcoves. Nicley done. This exhibit showed various buildings and lifestyles of early settlers from a school room, a home, a church and then there was an extensive site of farm equipment and boats.

Maybe it was because my dad built his own boat, or because my husband loves to fish, this was a great experience. The gardens were lovely as well.

This place is awesome if you have any interest in boats. Who knew there are boats that look like classic Cadillac cars! The displays are well done. Great garden area as well.

I've never had much interest in boats but I was fascinated by this museum. The exhibits and the garden are amazing. Also a great venue for various types of gatherings.

We were at the Joyann Parker Blues Band show on the museum grounds August 11. Great band and the lady has PIPES! The venue is gorgeous. We will certainly be back.

Well worth a visit. The displays are very, very well done and the vintage boats are amazing. The gardens on the property are fabulous.

Wonderful place to visit, many unique and old boats. Lots of history about how boats and canoes where made before aluminum boats came about. Interesting information on the first resorts and hotels in the area. If you go outside they have a beautiful garden area...More
