A treasure in town

We are new transplants to Albert Lea and we are so impressed with this gorgeous, wide, newly repaved trail loop. The songbirds are incredible and the breeze off the lake makes it a great walk even on hot summer days. Huge mature cottonwood trees and abundant wildlife make for a great connection to the outdoors. Absolutely love this trail

Great trail for the family

May 2020 • Family

Awesome biking/hiking and exploring spot for the family. 1.5 mile loop is perfect for a family with young kids. Many people go around the loop a few times, but once was perfect for us today. You can also venture further down the trail that connects with Myre Big Island if you really feel like getting after it. Brought a backpack with lunch, it was wonderful! Saw lots of wildlife! We loved it.
