I mainly use Hudson Mills for walking/jogging and XC skiing in the winter. The trails are well maintained and marked. In the winter, the variety of XC skiing trails is impressive, and the rental equipment is in good repair.

Nice MetroPark on the Huron River. Easy drive from Ann Arbor and close to some great dining places in Dexter and Chelsea.

Outstanding seminar about these nighttime predators, and then step outside as they call local owls for a personal visit. Loved it! Not for kids under 8yrs old or those with mobility issues and definitely bring bug spray.

Great trails that meander near the Huron River, B2B bike trail from Hudson Mills to Dexter are all wonderful. The Dexter portion can get hot so choose a cooler or overcast day for it.

Great paved 3 mile trail, frisbee golf course, play area for kids, fields for sports, decent bathroom facilities. Great for family, friend or work gatherings. The river provides a lovely setting, cooling and calming.

This park serves the 5 county area with popular activities for all. Facilities are very nice, with paved trails (even accessible in winter weather), picnic shelters, bathrooms and an activity center. Fireworks very popular around the 4th.

I go here several times a week. It is a relaxing place where you can go for a short walk or bicycle ride, or do a long hike. Just don't go over 30 mph. I got stopped once but they were understanding enough that it was my first trip in the spring and I was excited about being there.

This is a lovely park full of woodland critters. The Huron River flows through it and is great for canoeing and kayaking. There are lots of picnic areas and play scapes. There are also 5.3 miles of paved paths, great for biking and walking through the beautiful woods.

Very nice park for families. We walked the 2 miles and it was fabulous. Very clean. Our son loved the park! If we are in the area again, we will be back!
