Aggressive, morbidly obese black woman at front desk area was supremely rude. It was my first time visiting. So incredibly awful to experience this. Won’t be back..

We drove in from an hour away to attend one of their Classic Movie series offerings... The Godfather! Thank you for showing one of the finest movies of all time on the big screen. Love this setting! The lobby is stunning with its staircase to the balcony level, mirrors, and beautiful ceiling. The theatre itself isn't too shabby either! Anytime you can see a movie in a historic theatre, you should take advantage. Since we were in Ann Arbor during COVID, masks were required to enter. Thank you for keeping us safe! We've seen movies, lectures, and concerts in this venue. It is always a treat!!

The Michigan Theater is a fabulous local gem, and if you are ever in Ann Arbor make sure to catch a show! It's beautifully maintained, and there are many different opportunities to catch a show, attend a documentary or film camp, or just admire the architecture.

This old theater is very nice. It’s currently showing old Halloween movies which is fun. It would be nice if more of these were still around.

Intimate historic beautiful venue. This was our first time visit and was pleasantly surprised how comfortable the seats were. Only problem was when I went to the women’s restroom midway through the show and there was not toilet paper or paper towel so I had to go to the one all the way downstairs.

We recently attended the Shawn Colvin & Mary Chapin Carpenter concert here and it was amazing. What a beautiful theater and what lovely acoustics. The place was very comfortable and the concessions and the merch tables were well run and well staffed. The alcohol purchase was complicated by the need to buy a membership that would allow you to buy alcoholic beverages. Are we in Utah in the 80's? at any rate, what a beautiful place and I can't wait to return for another show there. Convenient ramp located next door and very close to a lot of great restaurants and watering holes.

Whether seeing a movie or a concert, the Michigan Theater is top notch. An old fashioned organ player plays the pipe organ in the main theater before movies. They have delicious popcorn with real butter, as well as other quality snacks and beverages. Concerts here are intimate and lovely.

When was the last time you showed up early to a movie and had a live organist play to you? At first I thought it was corny, but now I love that aspect. That said, it is not a fancy modern theater, so don't expect plush seats, etc. It is still a cool place to catch a movie.

This movie theater has the flair of a few decades ago. It is cosy and comfortable, it is spacy and has a very nice atmosphere.
