We lived just down the road from here and used the beach every day during the summer. Lots of beautiful beach and clear blue water to enjoy. One of the natural wonders of the Alpena area.

We stopped by as we explored Alpena. It's a nice beach park and we got to enjoy the lake as we took a break from the car.

We stopped here recently just to stare at the Caribbean blue waters of Lake Huron and stretch our legs a bit. What a nice park! Lots of families were there enjoying the playground and sandy beach. We walked south a bit along the Alpena Bi-Path and were lured onto the big limestone rocks protecting the shore by our discovery of... More

There were three rafts, lifeguards on a boat out in the lake & on shore, lots of wonderful yellow sand to play in & lie on and playground equipment... More

Very nice park that's clean, well maintained, and a good family atmosphere. We return again and again.

Beach volleyball league playing when we were there that was fun to watch. There is a wide sidewalk for wandering along the lake. We watched what looked like a paddleboard yoga class going on in the lake. How do they do that?? Playground equipment is there for kids, and a sandy beach area is well defined, although there is no... More
