The tour starts with telling you the history of the building and its location on the main Plaza. Then you visit several rooms to see the treasures and how they were obtained. WELL worth a visit.

This museum is well worth a visit and is full of interesting gems. They also sell 'Bolivianite' or amatrine as it is known scientifically in the shop at reasonable prices. It does close for a long lunch though so make sure to check opening times.

I recommend you have guides in several languages, it is very nice and interesting, It's a bit more expensive than other museums in the city but it's worth it, and you can not take photos

You can learn a lot about Bolivian history and richness in this museum, the place is nice, not exhausting like other museums and the guide we had when I went there was very good.
