You get the big red touristy looking bus from the corner in the main plaza, very easy to spot and it leaves at 11am (get there 10mins before) or 3pm to co-incident with the guided tours at the park. The bus is 15bs return and in itself is an interesting 20min ride The park is 30bs in but 5bs extra... More

First I live near Drumheller, Alberta, Canada and have been to the museum there so my standards are high. And I must have had unrealistic expectations. I thought it would be possible to walk close enough get an idea as to the size and stride of the beasts. The displays are OK and there is one actual foot print you... More

There are regular guided tours of the museum area (which lonely planet accurately describes as kitschy) but bizarrely only two tours a day to see the footprints themselves up close - 12 and 1. We caught a public bus out there and it took over an hour due to traffic. The official park bus back into town only took 20-30... More

Easy to get to on the 'dino bus' from the central plaza, for 30 BOB per person return. It takes about 40 mins to get there. There is a very small museum and after you get straight on to a tour to see the footprints. There are some life size recreations of dinosaurs, which are fun and then a viewpoint... More

Sucre isn't exactly massive so was definitely worth the visit and worth hearing about the tectonic earth movement and history of Dinosaurs. Also quite cool to see this 800ft wall covered in prehistoric footprints, the life size Dinis were fun too. Kids will love this! Very surprised that no dino bones have been found anywhere in Bolivia...? But apparently it's... More

Make sure you can get the tour down to the wall at 12pm or 1pm. Otherwise it would have been not so nice. We took the Sauromovil from main plaza at 12pm for 15Bs and arrived on time for the tour to the wall at 1pm. Back to the city at 2pm.

This is a really fun place to visit - especially after seeing all the other dinosaurs around Sucre. You can get the park bus, a taxi, or local bus 4 to get to the park, which is a few km north of Sucre Centre. You need to buy a photography pass if you want to take photos - but that... More

Very cool attraction when you stand and really consider what is it you're looking at - so many dinosaur footprints, it makes more a pretty unique and impressive sight! We managed to get there easily by local bus (we asked the leader of our walking tour which ones to get, and it was SO cheap - don't go with an... More

Anyone with children (or even without!) should not miss this park. It has brilliant dinosaur replicas, a terrific playground where kids can dig up dinosaur bones and ride dinosaurs, an informative film, and the opportunity to view the largest collection of dinosaur footprints in the world. We've been three times!
