at less than 30 minutes from Sucre center, the castle is a jewel that can be visited with local guide that provide a lot of info about the family and the history of the castle. Nice 2hours excursion from Sucre

We have a saying in Norway, which translates to "nice from afar, but far from nice". I.e. it looks good from a distance, but not when you get up close, which pretty much sums up La Glorieta. The place has so much potential, but all...More

The mansion itself has a wonderful story of a couple who were either A) awarded the title of prince and princess by the Vatican for their work with orphans OR B) bought their titles. It is an eclectic and bizarre combination of classical byzantine, classic...More

Historical castle 20 m away from the city, with a fascinating history and strange mix of all styles. Still in the process of restoration, but very interesting to understand bolivian history

The site is not well restored/preserved. Most of the rooms are completely empty of furniture and the architecture alone is just not that impressive. I enjoyed wandering the building but was underwhelmed overall. Given the admission price a few directive signs and some additional information...More

A nice play to visit! Take bus 4 until the terminus! Unfortunately completely empty and it should be more taken care of. Quite sad but worth a visit!

A beautiful architectural experience. Built by the owner to remind his wife of European and middle eastern locations. 3 towers are within the castle - Russian Byzantine, Arabic, Big Ben. It is a museum today.

The place has really very little to see. It was expensive and you need to take a bus from Sucre. They didn't allow photos inside and I get why, so that you don't document how poor this sight is.
