It’s incredible how dunes can be so close to the city! You feel as if you are not into the city! It is beautiful and just beside the water which adds up the breathtaking views!

If you like to post Instagram photos, be here at sunset! Lots of local teens here and surfing, you can get some cool shots.

The Dunes from Condon is a nice place to visit for the sunset. You can aswell do some sand boarding there for 1'000 Chilenin Pesos per hour. They have two boards you can take (The quality of the boards is not that good). However the...More

Though visible from miles away down the Vina and Valparaiso coast, it is worth the effort to drive to the Dunes and see them from the highway above and the coastal road below. A nice 90 minute excursion from the city. The coastal drive back...More

This is a worthwhile visit while in the Vina del Mar/Valparaiso area. Pleasant drive to the dunes and a strenuous walk up to the top. The sand is super hot - even when it's not that hot outside. Make sure you have shoes!

We rented "sand boards" and spent a couple hours trying them out. So fun for photos and a good laugh. We were only used to sledding and snowboarding, so this was a nice change! Wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes.

Went with a friend from Viña with the bus. Is really cheap and takes like 20 minutes. The dunes are for free, so you just walk up and enjoy the incredible view! Make sure to pack snacks to have a Picknick on the dunes. There...More

For 1 mil peso, you can rent a board for an hour. They'll give you some wax to make the board slippery after each time you attempt to make it down the hills. It is kinda cold in November, but the sunset views are gorgeous....More

HI, Pretty sure, no. I saw no motorized vehicles nor did I see any evidence (tracks in the sand or signs). I walked around the southern half and saw no rentals. *Should have included in my review that I saw no public... More

Nope. Lots of boards available. Show up, give them 1000 pesos and off you go.
