Not pretty

Actually quite an eyesore on the beach. Adding to that are repair walks nearby which do spoil the beachfront.

This used to be an attraction but has been closed for some time so there is nothing available to enjoy.

This is along playa Acapulco, beautiful to seat and take plenty of pictures on Sunset. Take a jumper has it does get a bit cold in the evenings.

For now it's closed but hopefuly soon will up for a walk. The beach is clean and right next to it a lot of little places where people sell their craftwork. Really nice even in winter.

the pier has been refurbished... we actually did not even know what it looked liked... the beach however is perfect for a walk and it is bizarre to see apartment blocks literally on the beach and loads of dogs lounging on the sand!

The place is closed, because is being remodelled, so dont go there. It seems that it will be very beatiful in the feature, but as of March 2016, its closed.

The old peer is not the main attraction of this place. Rather, you should look at the residential high-rises (a bit dated) that are located literally at the beach. Not a road next to the beach (like in Copacabana) but among the sand. Amazing...

Even though it might be an eyesore, one can't think of the main beach of Viña del Mar without the Muelle Vergara

Not really an attraction, you will see it when walking the beaches of Viña del Mar. A good spot for pictures but needs to be fixed.

This was once a pier used in Vina del Mar. At a later point it had restaurants. At the moment (Sept 14), it is closed. There is a sign in Spanish saying the city has other plans for the pier.
