Beautiful mosque. On their website, it explains that there is a guided tour that you can register for, to explain the history. However, when we arrived, no one was available and the people who were there did not know about a tour. We arrived right before 10am. Be sure to know when prayer times are to not disturb.

Large mosque and tends to get very busy on Fridays so best to arrive early to get a seat inside in the air con. Sounds obvious but be aware that Friday prayer times are different to normal Duhr prayer times. Hotel staff will unlikely know that if you ask them and may just give you the duhr time from Google. Currently Friday prayer/khutbah starts at 1:15. Advisable to be there from 12:45

Beautiful mosque. Make sure you covered in traditional dress to enter. I went with the tour and i was provided the dress. So I had no issue.
To enter you will need to remove your shoes, so wear something that is easy to take off would be an ideal!

This is a beautiful mosque we stopped at on a city tour of Dubai. They provide you with robes to cover up if you decide to go inside, which I definitely would recommend. It’s a gorgeous interior with a beautiful dome, chandelier, and windows. It is fun to learn about the culture!

I got there at 10am, after a taxi ride from Noor Bank Metro. I expected an organised tour, but a security guard covered me up (I was already wearing long trousers and top ans scarf) and I was sent in to empty mosque. No history about the building or Islam. I was told there was no community centre. After 5 minutes I left and then walked to Safa Park. Not as good as the other open Masjid in Dubai.

It is a good idea to let non Muslim into a mosque to see the insides and to learn a bit about the religion. The mosque was very beautiful with lots of ornate carvings

Magnificent building, with special decoration! It's better to visit it with a guide in order to understand the culture of Islam (we combine the visit to the mosque with one day trip to Dubai). You should cover your body (shoulders, arms, legs and head) but do not worry, there is a small store where they will provide you with the appropriate clothes. It worth's a visit!

this mosque was built inspired by the blue mosque from istanbul and it's situated in a residential neighbourhood.
according to their website you need to make a prior reservation to come visit, so i showed up with a reservation and went into the library hall, the guy had no idea what this was despite being the in charge of that place, so i simply took off and wandered around myself.
the ladies' prayer is on the second floor and the mens' on the ground floor. beautiful architecture. nothing too fancy inside

The Omar Farook Mosque (referred to as the Blue Mosque) as its designed based on the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, is spectacular. We visit this mosque for prayers on most of visit to Dubai, mainly the Friday Juma'ah prayer when it gets full and the place is buzzing. The architecture of this mosque is amazing. the facilities for worshippers is brilliant.
