    Loved this Themed Mall
Amazing mall. It's huge, loved the different themed sections. Great food options along with great shopping. We were staying next door in the Avani hotel so visiting the mall was so convenient. Spent 2 days trying to see it all & visit as many shops that were pertinent to us. Bought men's & women's clothes (great to find big sizes) jewellery along with supplies from the Carrefours supermarket. Lovely cafes n 2 big food halls. There is a train station adjacent. Have previously been to The Dubai Mall & the Mall of the Emirates & while perhaps not as big it was still a great mall

    Amazing architectural design
It is of the oldest malls in Dubai. I once visited this place 15 years ago, since then it has changed a lot. The one thing that has remained is the large ship and water fountain. My favourite part of the mall is the huge dome in the middle, surrounded by coffee shops.
Thanks for the great review, Waza28. It was a pleasure serving you as a guest. Ibn Battuta Mall Team

THE worst experience I had with Carrefour Hypermarket Ibn Battuta delivery. We bought a washing machine a week ago, supposed to deliver yesterday along with my cooker but they called to cancel and promised to deliver this morning. We waited since this morning till 2 pm, no one called. I called the hotline and after numerous calls, the answer were the same, "We will file a complaint and the relevant department will call you back "AS SOON AS POSSIBLE" and three hours later, there is still no call. One of the operator mentioned the delivery "time frame" was 10 am to 10 pm. I questioned if I am supposed to wait at home from 10 to 10, he said no but the delivery team will call to confirm the timing (which they did not). The delivery eventually came at about 6 pm.

My conclusion, Carrefour cannot handle their delivery, they don't when they said they will call you back, and the delivery system simply does not work. Thats my experience.

As reviewed earlier this mall is a typical Arabian architecture blending with both old and new. It consists of six courts, each of whose designs are inspired by some of the countries visited by the Moroccan Berber explorer, Ibn Battuta: Andalusia Court, China Court, Egypt Court, India Court, Persia Court, and Tunisia Court. It’s always a pleasure to visit this mall as it’s one of my favourite destinations when I am in Dubai.

It's a very nice mall, size is ok but small comparing to Dubai Mall & Mall of the Emirates.
Many usual shops are there, such as DeCathlon, Max, Carrefour, M&S, also Electronic shops such as E-Max, E-City & Sharaf DG, but i noticed that prices in this Sharaf DG is lower than any other Sharaf DGs shops, don't know why.

Also there are restaurants with a lot of varieties.
Accessible through Metro.

Till next visit.

I love going to Homebox Ibn Battuta Mall, especially when there is a sale. Last week, me and my friends went there and there was a huge sale for all items and there’s buy 1 get 1 free for furnitures. We really enjoyed our shopping galore at Homebox. Staffs are so friendly, very welcoming and helpful, Oh special mentioned to NIRODHA who assisted me even when she was busy, she came to me and offered to assist me. Kudos to this girl👏👏👏

When you compare Ibn Battuta with others like Emirates Mall or Mall of Dubai, it is not so luxury, brands are more reachable. More food variety. As it is flat and wide, nice to walk around. They have different designs under the name of different counyries. Looks nice.

This mall is not popular as it would deserve. It has been designed to reflect the travels of Ibn Battuta and it’s split into 6 areas: Andalusia, Tunisia, Egypt, Persia, India and China. Each of these court is themed accordingly, with also some statues. This on top of a great choice of shops, restaurants and a cinema. It’s also very easy to access from the metro.

...with anything you want and everything you don't. The mall's greatest treasure would be the elephant clock that everyone lines up to take pictures. From one end to the other there's all kinds of things to see and do. The mall is anchored by a Carrefour Hypermarket where I bought some fresh food to bring back to my nearby Airbnb. Attached Metro station makes it convenient to get to. Also this is where the bus station to Abu Dhabi is located.

Well located just a stone through from Oaks Ibn Batuta Hotel. Access is easy and a well looked after mall. One of my best experiences was at Paul's for Breakfast and visiting the Etisalat store. Wow rhe experience was great. Also came accross an unique well spoken elderly man who does calligraphy art. An amazing man and his work is impeccable. A must to visit and support this man.

This was our 3rd visit in 2019 pre Pandemic. The mall is very unique due its theme and architecture and the layout. Its definitely not for the faint of heart because the mall is just 1 floor and is absolutely massive. We walked around hoping to see everything but couldn't manage even in 3 visits on foot. Every retail store, fast food place and restaurant in dubai has a store here. You can also find great deals in the outlet stores and many small kiosks. Definitely a must visit for first timers if only to see the beautiful themed architecture of the place.

This review is about Ibn Battuta Mall located on the far end of Sheikh Zayed Rd - Jebel Ali Village emirate of Dubai. There will be tool gates on the way, but it can be avoided in you know how to drive on the service roads. Its one of the world’s largest themed shopping mall. The designed around the travel experiences of renowned Arabian explorer, Ibn Battuta. At Ibn Battuta Mall, shopping, dining and entertainment is fun for the family and small groups of friends. The restaurants offer bit pricy menu for families but its kind of affordable for set of two. The food court in my opinion is poor in the selection of the food they offer, price, service and seating areas even though they improved it recently, but it still can’t accommodate families, public, visitors and regular goers of the mall to sit comfortably and enjoy a good meal. Beside its dirty and messy in some parts, it also affected the air quality to smell oils coming from the fryers. The mall needs to work on their parking spaces to be shaded and free with easy access. Not easy to spot washrooms and need to walk long. Shopping is good in some shops. The Carrefour there is with bad customer service and I find the store dull. The mall offers good experience for tourists and visitors in general.
