Described as both a ‘Vertical City’ and ‘A Living Wonder,’ Burj Khalifa, developed by Dubai-based Emaar Properties PJSC, is the world’s tallest building. Rising gracefully from the desert, Burj Khalifa honours the city with its extraordinary union of art, engineering and meticulous craftsmanship. At 828 metres (2,716.5 ft), the 200 plus storey Burj Khalifa has 160 habitable levels, the most of any building in the world. The tower was inaugurated on January 4, 2010, and is responsible for a number of world-firsts. The tower became the world’s tallest man-made structure just 1,325 days after excavation work started in January 2004. Burj Khalifa utilised a record-breaking 330,000 cubic metres of concrete; 39,000 tonnes of steel reinforcement; 103,000 square metres of glass; and 15,500 square metres of embossed stainless steel. The tower took 22 million man hours to build.

Amazing place that must be seen. We were there in the very late afternoon and were able to see the sunset.

Sensational. After walking through the labyrinth of underground corridors you eventually get to the lift to take you to the very top. There is no sensation of movement in the lift, the only clue that you are going up is your ears popping! But the...More

Visited in day and would highly recommend. I'm scared of heights but this was safe and secure. The lift journey up is also amazing too! Quieter during day.

You need a head for heights for this one! Not all the telescopes worked which was disappointing. Also, be aware that if you go up in the afternoon on a very hot day, there is a haze so it is not possible to see in...More

One the best view in Dubai, long and unbelievable. World's tallest building, the experience is very different between the top floor to the other viewing platform. Nice gift shop. Well worth.

Although expensive to do, going to the top of the worlds highest building was incredible. My son (14) thought it was superb. Once at the top, the views across Dubai were brilliant. We went as the sun was setting so we got to see a...More
