A lovely beach, but it needs another set of public toilets / change rooms. This beach is not as busy as other beaches, but still has lifeguards and changing facilities. The BookHero cafe across the street has lovely service and good food/beverages.

This is a nice beach with great views of the Burj Al Arab and newly built Marsa Al Arab.

There are some nice food and beverage options including a small Arabian Tea House. There is a bike and walking track and lots of seats to take it all in.

The sea is generally lovely although when the wind gets up it is a place to surf.

I visited Umm Suqeim Beach after reading many reviews in here to have a close view of Burj Al Arab, but seems that I selected the wrong spot. The tower is very far to see. What I found is an open free beach to public with many parking spaces. Nice sand and no facilities. You have to bring everything you need yourself. Nothing else. Many people do come for swimming and relax under the sun. Very quite spot.

Always has been a favorite of mine, if I wanted to get away from the city and head over to the beach. Wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be. The only negative is that there is construction of a new hotel in the area which blocks the view of the Burj al Arab hotel from the beach. Other than that, it's always a good time at this beach.

This public beach is beside Burj Al Arab. Tourists like us went there not for the swimming but to capture a few photos of the famous Burj Al Arab. But last November when we went there, we were so disappointed. There were cranes left and right. It was imposible to have a nice clear photo of this 7 star hotel. Later when we went to Souk Madinat Jumeirah for lunch, we had a few nice photos of Burj Al Arab from there. Umm Suqeim Beach has plenty of changing cubicles and showers to wash off the sand. There are few washrooms, be prepared for line ups. There is a fish & Grill restrauart nearby for your convenience.
Happy travelling!

It was a beautiful place. Was there at the sunset. Was a little bit chilly, but it was worth it. I promise

There was a ton of tourists taking pictures of the Burj Al Arab. It was quite crowded in fact with just that. The swimming area was kind of small. It would be hard to enjoy the beach with the number of people who came by to take pictures. We decided to go to JBR beach and loved it.
