Top ways to experience Raffles Botanical Garden and nearby attractions

The area
Neighbourhood: Al Quoz
Al Quoz sits literally at the halfway point between old and new Dubai. At first sight it has little to recommend it: warehouses and factories dominate the area, with some residential areas on the outskirts. Heavy goods vehicles roar up and down the roads and laborers stop at small hole-in-the-wall cafes for a cheap lunch. But it is fast becoming a magnet for art lovers: Alserkal Avenue is a significant contemporary art hub, home to 25 galleries and arts spaces, with ambitious expansion plans. The galleries host exhibitions, talks, panel discussions, auctions, and community events. If you love art, pass by to visit the galleries, it’s a great opportunity to get a sense of art and community in the region and to sit alongside key influencers and artists as they go about their day.

One main thing that I should say is definitely the Garden which sounds astonishing one. It impressed me a lot such that I have approached our nearest Indoor Gardeners team(SijiGreenhouse) to furnish my Garden exactly like the Garden there.

Spa was Very exciting one. Hospitality was well appreciated. The Theme is good..

Thanks team I will be coming Next July with my Family to enjoy the Flora and Fauna there.

One great attraction that i could find here is the beauty of the Plants. Its theme is based on 4 significant life supporting natural elements Earth, Water, Fire and Wind. There are thousands of plants, trees, bushes, flowers, creepers, palms, Bamboo plants, aquatic plants, shrubs and climbers in the Raffle Botanical Gardens.

I too have made a small garden in my Dubai Flat inspired from this Botanical garden. I Would like to take this opportunity to thank my Indoor Gardening Planters team SIJIGREENHOUSE for making my balcony a heaven like Raffles.

The Raffles Hotel with its Egyptian vibe is adjacent to the Wafi Mall and on a transfer stop for the Big Bus Tour of Dubai. Take the time to explore the quiet and peaceful botanical garden on the outer mezzanine by the buffet restaurant. The spring plantings of petunias and marigolds were fragrant and colorful. The highlight of our stop here for our teenage son was the two Lamborghini and two Rolls Royce cars parked at the hotel entrance.

The area really flourishes in the cooler months.

Nice place to take a stroll, have intimate talks.

I'd say it' be great after a meal.

There are nice sectioned areas with different species of rose & other flora.

The garden looks very tired, grass is mainly brown, many of the shrubs look tatty, not weeded and edged regularly, the trees look good. The description misled me. Many of the roadside gardens are in far better condition that Raffles'. The concept is good, the variety of plants is limited and the execution is inadequate.
