A MUST visit....a lunch or dinner reservation is necessary to gain access to hotel if you are not staying there.....Recommend the Arab Restaurant...excellent buffet for lunch of local dishes

We saw the exterior from many vantage points. My favorite was from Costa Coffee in Souk Medeinat. Palm trees, water, and arched bridge perfectly frame the unique hotel.

As far as I know, it’s not possible to gain access by just have a drink. You must be hotel guest (have a suite there) or make a booking for tea time or lunch/dinner in one of the restaurants. Therefore I would recommend the... More

You must have either a hotel or restaurant reservation to get onto the property. Not really understanding the response that said they made it to the elevator undetected; even if you made it past the security at the front... More
