Top ways to experience Jumeirah Public Beach
The area
Neighbourhood: Jumeirah
Years ago, before the skyscrapers, before the 12-lane highway, there was only Jumeirah. In fact, when the UAE was formed, its rulers signed the agreement in Union House, at the very start of Jumeirah Beach Road. Often called “The Beverly Hills” of Dubai, a drive down Beach Road reveals one enormous, lavish villa after another. Originally residential-only neighbourhoods, they are now also home to an array of cafes, smart boutiques, and art galleries. Home to one of Dubai’s few public beaches, this recently renovated area includes a new boardwalk, running and walking track, with changing facilities and cafes along the way. Another landmark, Jumeirah Mosque, is the only mosque in Dubai that can be entered by non-Muslims. As part of the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, the mosque hosts regular tours and talks about Islam, as part of an “Open Doors, Open Minds” program. A wonderful way to understand more about the UAE and Islam.

It stretches along the coast south of the city's historic district to the junction with The Palm Jumeirah and terminates between the southern end of the Jumeirah Beach Residence (adjacent to the Dubai Marina district) and the port facilities at Jebel Ali. Public beach with no entrance fees.Visited December 2022Written 20 December 2022

We've been there on numerous instances and never were bothered by anyone. Some people will try to sell you stuff (drinks, tours) but they're not insisting and very polite overall. It is also safe at night.Visited February 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 20 February 2023
- Walshy Travels 🇬🇧Portsmouth, United Kingdom3,418 contributionsGreat area night or dayIt’s a fabulous if busy public beach. It’s very popular with the water sport scene but there are periodic designed swim areas along the beach. Like most places, they are only as nice as people keep them and it was disappointing to see swathes of plastic/ rubbish in the sea and in places on the beach. There’s plenty of activities along the beach, from parks, the aqua park and water sports kiosks. There’s a nice wooden walk way for most of the beach and lovely views day or night. Plenty of shops and places to eat, clean public toilets and showers (close at 9pm) and there’s also a spot with fair ground type games and activities.Visited February 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 21 February 2023
- zuvBucharest, Romania27,132 contributionsNice beachA beautiful, wide, sandy beach. The entrance to the water is on a gentle slope, the bottom of the water is sandy. The water is very warm, without algae, but a bit cloudy. There are changing rooms, showers, toilets. There is no fee for access. On the minus side, there is only one kiosk, very small, for the entire beach, where you can get water, juice or snacks.Visited October 2023Travelled soloWritten 27 October 2023

Highlight of this man made beach is of course beautiful view of the nearby Burj Al Arub, open around the clock and only place you can swim at night, also nice properties & eateries around it.

This is a beautiful beach, which is generally less busy than Kite Beach and therefore a nice spot to visit.
There are a few refreshment outlets now and there are well kept public toilets.
A lovely spot to visit for a beach day and swim in the calm sea.

This is a true to form public beach accessible to everyone. Wherein there is no entrance fee. And it affords views to some nearby residences and high end hotels , including the Burj .

Nice beach within walking distance of JBR walk and resturants there. A little littered with cigarrette butts. All paid Men showers were out of order except one!
All in all a fun beach experience.

Clean beach, however it lacks public toilets. I like the view, sand and the clear waters. It's accessible via bus too

the ultimate spot to spend a fantastic day! It's super popular and a great place to walk, chill and relax. I've been there countless times, and the white sand beach is just perfect for soaking up the sun and having a blast.

Dove si trovano le cabine per doccia e cambiarsi?? Si pagano? Quanto costano?!
