About
The sprawling Global Village complex is a great spot for culture, entertainment, and shopping in Dubai. Get a closer look at over 90 cultures, all in the same place. At the themed pavilions, you’ll find a variety of beautiful handicrafts and delicious food representative of each country. You'll also get to watch cultural performances as well as international music acts each night. Don't miss out on all the carnival rides within the park too.
Global Village is open from October through April and entry tickets are needed. The best time to visit is during early evening hours when crowds are thinner.

- Pearl8 contributionsSome good some okSome good and some bad. Every year this seems to become expensive, getting here is also not easy on metro so including taxi and family ticket it adds up. Then going in eating and buying most items are triple or double the price on market. Turkey is def. The most overpriced one, they are selling items that don’t cost as much in actually parts of turkey, so you have to be silly to not see this, I am guessing most people must be well travelled here. Walking around gets tiring, and you can spend 5 hrs. This time the only part that was really sad is in a Muslim country what goes in on the India stand , the men love touching women and thinking it’s normal and they can get away with it! So be careful sometimes they may do it thinking they haven’t done anything wrong. And i am MuslimVisited November 2022Written 11 December 2022
- Azil A5 contributionsMaybe I personally won’t come againLet your customer service and gate attendants to have a good customer service training. We don’t like how he (African guy but not sure well with nationality if he’s really African) treated my colleague (gay) when we about to enter the entrance and how he shouted to my lady colleague. Please do advice respectful environment towards tourists and staffs. Thank you.Visited December 2022Travelled with friendsWritten 12 December 2022
- PRATIKlMumbai, India30 contributionsOverpriced and Over rated. Beware of cheats.Global Village is a shopping center with stalls that sell you wares, apparently from different countries of the world. However, almost all stalls across different countries, including Europe sell locally sourced stuff(some exceptions). I was surprised to see all Middle Eastern stuff at the European Pavillion. Secondly, everything is over priced and most food stalls that so not display their prices openly are cheats. I had terrible experience at the Moroccon food stall ehere I had tea that was published 15 aed at the corner wall, but the cashier later sends me a bill of 55 aed saying that 15 aed was for takeaway only( it wasnt written anywhere). Similarly at the Syrian stall they showed a picture of an ice cream and served something altogether different and unappealling. Most items at Stalls are cheap quality and over priced. You could get high end luxury brands at prices quoted at these stalls.. However, food is very good, but buy only from places that have clearly published prices with pictures of what they serve or you know what exactly you are buying. If you think the person selling is trying to cheat, then they mostly are. So beware and trust your gut. Overall I would say go to Global Village only for some good food experiences, other wise its worth a miss. The final highlight for us however, was the stunt show at the end, which sort of uplifed our mood after the bad experiences. Will I go there again? NO.Visited December 2022Travelled as a coupleWritten 16 December 2022
- Gayatri PPune, India12 contributionsWorth visiting onceWorth visiting once to absorb the experience. It is one big large fair exhibiting global culture. You can enjoy food and craft from different regions of the world. But shopping here is quiet costly as compared to Deira DubiaVisited December 2022Written 29 December 2022
- Cuzco76Glasgow, United Kingdom34 contributionsNot worth the effort - better other attractions to visitCheap entrance fee is about one of the few positives that be be said. If you are going to give it a visit plan your journey time carefully. It should take about 20 mins but we were at least an hour getting there due to the horrific traffic at 5:30pm. Despite the traffic jams the entrance fee queues are quick and entry price is cheap. Don’t go expecting to try food from around the world. Unfortunately the food stalls are like over priced burger van type food and are very slow. We also expected the food stall to reflect the countries they were next too but this is not the case. Apparently Turkey are famous for their baked potatoes! There are also lots of stalls selling items like clothes, bags, souvenirs which are supposed to be from the relevant counties but unfortunately whether it was due to the volume of people it just looked like a massive jumble sale. There are also shows on but you need to pay extra to see these and book in advance as they were sold out when we arrived. There are lots of other things to see and do in Dubai which are much better than this attraction.Visited December 2022Travelled with familyWritten 30 December 2022
- Nilay DesaiMumbai, India23 contributionsGood visit, be ready to talk a lotIt is a huge place, with pavilions of different countries. It was interesting to see for some of the pavilions of countries which you never visit, like Yemen. Most of the pavilions have shops selling their local items. The place is great for shopping enthusiasts and foodies. There are lots of places to eat, road side eatery to restaurants. There is also a play area for kids which has some rodes, rides are very expensive though. We ate mexican which was very authentic and good. Please note, it is a huge place and you will need to walk a lot.Visited December 2022Written 2 January 2023
- Emilia ESwitzerland36 contributionsA whole new worldAbsolutly magical and unbelivable. There‘s so much to see, it‘s almost overwhelming. Buy your tickets online and don‘t buy the once that say you don‘t have to stand in line. First online it‘s cheaper, we payed about 10€ per person. There you will pay a bit more than 10. But there are practically no lines to wait so don‘t spend your money on that. I recomand bringing a lot of cash money. There is so much to try and buy. Food everywhere! It‘s okay compared with the prices on other places. If you enter the „villages“ of the countries get prepared to ignore the very pressing sellers. You really have to keep your had down and say „no“. Otherwise you‘re in their fangs and you will spend a lot of money on things you don‘t need. I really recomand eating the mac and cheese from the food truck near the „UAE-Village“ entrance. It was so delicious!!Visited January 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 2 January 2023
- Amjad K1 contributionNumaish on steroidsEffort to replicate the Hyderabad Nizam’s Numaish from Hyderabad. Basically Numaish on some steroids. Shops in every country are either Abaya, Thop, Perfume and Food What if most of the products from different countries are made in China? - AmirFDMNahariya, Israel899 contributionsA fun experienceA huge and impressive complex, which is divided into pavilions from all over the world. Each pavilion has a selection of shops and stalls that sell products and food, which are typical of that country. In the area of the village there are shows, amusement facilities, and many more food stalls. The complex is open from the afternoon, the duration of the visit lasts several hours.... Entrance to the park is with a fee.Visited December 2022Travelled with friendsWritten 3 January 2023

Always love Gloval Village, I go every year!
It's always different with new attractions and things to do.
This year I went on a public holiday and I would reccomend going when it's quieter in a week day or just not a national holiday as it was so busy 🙃
Still had fun but the prices of everything has gone up massively!
queues for some things were ridiculous and the traffic 😡.
Stunt show was still pretty good but the story line isn't as good as it has been before.
I'd still tell people to go as its still worth it.

Great vibe and food. There were lots of people about but that is to be expected lots to see. The family really enjoyed the variety of shows and food. Just outside of the main areas but easy to access with bus.

It was an amazing experience, if you are in Dubai I would definitely advise to visit the place and get a chance to experience different culture, food and cultural performance. It's super fun for kids. Do negotiate prices when shopping.

I thought this place was ok, it mostly just areas representing each country and every area is filled with tacky souvenirs at super inflated prices. The Japan and Korea section was what I was most interested in as I visit those countries, but everything was like 5 times more expensive so did not buy anything. Food is all junk food here like burgers, chips, mac and cheese etc… so nothing appealed to me. Shows are at an extra cost, as are the rides. Other than that no entertainment as such, just tons of shops and food stands. Just walked around for two hours before getting bored and leaving. It did look pretty at night all lit up and the concept is interesting, but it was all very fake and tacky to me, lacking proper entertainment, crap junk food, too overpriced for what it is worth so I can only give 2 stars. Disneyland or some proper theme park is much better than this.

I loved different countries pavilions and food but what i am disappointed is that these vendors are selling fake saffron and spices which was surprise for me when i bought it home and found out they are fake, saffron was some colored twigs, took away the good experience.

Not sure what I was expecting to be honest but this wasn’t it. Big tip is don’t take a camera - just because my husband has a super Nikon with a nice lens they had to “interview” us to be let in. If you have a more high end camera do t take it unless you apply in advance. They refused to let him use it and wanted us to leave it with them or take the lens off. No, just no. In the end they allowed him to put it on his backpack but said we would likely be hassled by the guards.
Secondly - if you expect culture then this isn’t it. It’s a glorified tacky gaudy shopping experience open from 16:00 onwards. I would liken it to a glorified Gullivers World Theme park experience but mostly with shops. If that’s what you are looking for then you may like it. We lasted 15 minutes. The only thing I found fairly amusing was the idea they have of the U.K. - we were 2 tiny shops - Harry Potter, The Queen and Oxford.
Won’t be going back ever. Best part was leaving…

It is a big place with lots of eateries donminated by middle eastern fare. Perhaps one thing to highlight is the Turkish ice cream that I find at 25 AED IS VERY STEEP for a very underwhelmed cone. No price was published and guess one wouldn’t expect or ask the price before buying when kids are about to be entertained. After 3 acts of entertainment, man was pushing one for my in law and also to myself in a manner that I thought was for free. luckily I didn’t accept it as I felt 3 cones was already enough. Bill shocker came at 75 AED. This is the most expensive ice cream I ever held and maybe this is normal for Turkish ice cream performances at global village.

Bonjour y a t’il un bus ou u e navette qui fait la liaison avec global village depuis Dubai ?
Tickets aren't on sale yet for Global Village for the season starting October 2023. Tickets online like at Viator have a set time of 4pm. Are you required to be at Global Village at that exact time on ticket or could you come later?
