Zaabeel Palace is the main palace of the ruler of Dubai.

There is a grand, immaculately kept driveway leading to the main gate, which is topped with statutes of horses. You can’t get close to the main gate but not pass through it.

There are normally a few peacocks wandering around as well as a smart police car - it was a G Wagon on this occasion.

There is plenty of parking or, as an alternative, the walk from DIFC is not too far and very pleasant as there is a padded running track most of the way.

Zabeel Palace is where the royal family of Dubai resides and is also where the Sheikh receives ambassadors and foreign dignitaries. The palace is out of bounds for visitors and there is always a strict security presence around. One cannot really call it an attraction.

A picturesque and impressive building. We had a short time here to take photos from outside the Palace near the carpark. Nice to visit and say "I've been there, seen that". No wheelchair accessibility issues here to view the Palace.

You cannot go past the second lane on the main entrance path. There's a military guard and a guard who will shout if you go further than where he is standing. It's beautiful from the outside however- but can be looked at and photographed very quickly. The horses statue is identical to the Berlin one, which is pretty cool (also a gift; as Dubai doesn't have statues for religious reasons unless they are gifts or for tourist purposes)!

We all know that being one of the main residence of royalty can be majestic enough. But with tight security one cannot tour the palace. The best thing to do is just take photos outside . And with the humidity in Dubai , I am not taking longer shots and poses.

In the way of desert safari we could visit the outside of the palace. There was very quite place with no visitor. We saw it from the car. It seemed that no one let you enter due to the military car parked outside.

This is a legit palace where royal folks live so the security is tight and you really can't see much. What we did see was beautiful and our daughter loved all of the peacocks out front!

This palace is now used as a welcoming area for foreign dignitaries, but the sultan does not live here.
The gardens are meticulously cared for, and there is a large variety of flowers and plants. You are not allowed to tour the inside of the palace, but can view the exterior.

This destination was in our Dubai City Tour. It is Dubai Residence and administrative headquater of Ruling Royal Family. Beautiful Landscaping of the Garden is done all around in the outer space of the Palace. Gate was beautifully crafted with several horses made on the Gate. Overall it is good place to take photos. It is not allowed to view this palace from inside but it can be viewed from the compound of the Palace .
