About
The UAE’s latest cultural landmark, Dubai Frame is an iconic structure that ‘frames’ impressive views of Old and New Dubai, while serving as a metaphorical bridge connecting the emirate’s rich past with its magnificent present. Dubai Frame celebrates the story of Dubai from its early establishment to its ambitious plans for future development. Launched in January 2018, the project comprises a 150-metre-high, 95-meter-wide structure being built to resemble a huge picture frame, through which landmarks representing modern Dubai such as Emirates Towers and Burj Khalifa can be seen on one side, while from the other side, visitors can view older parts of the city such as Deira and Karama. Exterior design of Dubai Frame was inspired from the logo of EXPO2020 and it is world's largest picture frame by Guinness World Records. According to Dubai Frame general policy, guests are requested to wear respectful clothing: shoulders and knees to be covered.

Really cool attraction which is reasonably priced and well worth seeing in Dubai!

The Dubai Frame is really worth going to see! We tied it in with a trip to the Souks, with the frame a short hop on a metro away! The experience itself is very reasonably priced, with this costing around £10-15 per person.

Once inside, there is a glass floor which you can walk on (if you’re feeling brave), as well as glass elevators to get up and down. The views from the top are also amazing, with excellent views of the Burj Khalifa and downtown Dubai.

Bit of advice for some great holiday photos - if you use the footbridge to cross the highway outside the Dubai Frame you can get a great photo of the Burj Khalifa within the frame itself!

A really nice tour

As you drive past the frame it looks incredibly impressive. As you get closer and closer it’ll the frame is just wow ! We had pre booked our tickets and upon arrival we could walk straight through to the front door to a lady who scanned our tickets.

As you enter you queue up and have your picture taken infront of a green screen and the you take the escalator to the next floor which gives some history around the frame and how it was built.

From there you walk through to the elevator which again shows some history of old Dubai which is very interesting.

Once you are in the elevator you go up to the top floor and when the doors open you have the glass floor in front you you! The guide sets some ground rules and asks you not to run or jump of the glass. The glass floor makes you legs feel wobbly and i asked the guide if I could crawl on and then stand up.

As you look out of the frame on one side (I think the left) you can see old Dubai and on the other side (right) you can see new Dubai! The views are phenomenal.

Tickets expensive for such a short tour but still a good experience

Good location to go up and take pictures inside and out. Small water fountain show in the front. The cost is expensive for a pretty quick tour but still worth checking out.

First. The staff are either overloaded or not interested at all. No welcome sign on anyone’s face.
Nothing done to speedup the long queues at the ticket counter. Then the elevator police literally cramps people inside the elevator even during these COVID days.

Second, The view from the top deck is marred by unnecessary facade crisscrossing the glass. If you have seen Toronto from CN tower or Kuala Lumpur from that tower, this is nothing.

From bottom, there is simply no proper angle of the frame to be viewed, probably deliberately done to restrict photos.

Third, the car parking is unnecessarily costly.
