It was a great hotel with
1- friendly staff ,
2- clean hotel,
3- modern equipment
4- Robotic teachers in Theme park was excelent
5- Lego classes in Lobby was perfect.

we stayed there for 3 nights and I can guarantee that all children love it.

The weakness point is:
1- Hotel has no plan for celebrating children’s birthday.
2- theme park timing is till 6:00 P.M and motion gate till 8.00 PM which the weather is so hot even in sep and oct and it is not possible to visit them before 5:00 PM
3- there is not any area in the hotel or in the parks to keep children for some hour without parents.

We taken annual pass with additional benefits for Ain Dubai one visit free and laguna Water Park unlimited which is included in annual pass, but aftr purchase got to know that both attractions are closed and we didn't get any alternate benefits for that.

2 to 3 time visits are enough in this parks because in 3d shows and rides every time they have similar one, nothing new shows.

Park is good for kids and adults with so many rides some are most dangerous to some slow and simple. Lego Waterpark is a really good one and is very safe for kids also.

Motiongate has more rides than legoparks. Lego Park is more good for kids.

Overall, it's good for a few visits.

Spent a nice day at Motiongate in December break. Considering the schools were out for break it wasn't busy at all; early in the day everything was a walk on, and at most a 20 minute wait in the evening. Its obviously not Disney World but we found plenty of fun rides to amuse ourselves for a full day.

Riverland, on the other hand is very sad. Its a very pretty design so you can see all the potential, but most of the restaurants were shut except McDonalds, and the "Christmas market" was just a few half stocked stalls. The far out of the city location probably doesn't help with the lack of people around.

Took my family to the egg hunt at 8.30am which turned out to be a terrible experience with crying children. The park was meant to open at 8.30am with 100,000 eggs to collect for children so we arrived at 8.30am only to find all eggs already opened with mainly adults collecting hundreds of eggs so no thought or mechanic had gone into think how to manage the event or mechanic.
To make matters worse all food and drinks vendors were closed so it was impossible to buy water, coffee or breakfast as it became hot outside also seemed short sighted not to think money could be made by thousands of people attending. We went to leave at 9am as it became obvious all eggs had been opened we managed to collect zero eggs from the 100,000 so many kids were crying and upset so you could see the parents talking to staff and queuing outside the park office to ask what and why had it happened.
Seems the park need an event management team which can plan ahead and consider how to run an event of this scale and ensure a few people can’t simply take hundreds of eggs at one time.
We intended to stay at the park and pay to enter Lego land after the egg hunt but this didn’t happen as kids to upset and adults so disappointed

These theme parks are amazing…..and empty. Fully staffed. Motiongate included Dreamworks, TriStar, Columbia - definitely the busiest of all, but even then there was at most a 10min wait for a ride.

Bollywood was completely empty. The rides were awesome.

It’s one of those head scratchers - I think they have built it expecting things to pick up as the area around it gets built….but it’s still not there. What a treat.

Highly recommend spending 2-3 days here.
