I bought the experience in the hotel, they come to pick us up, drove us to a meeting point outside the city. From there you go on the 4x4 with your driver + 3 people.
It will be a race on the sand, with insane shunt until you reach the camp. Thre you will see the camels, take pictures, have a barbecue, belly dance, hands painting and back to hotel!

We are seniors, but still enjoyed this action tour. Our only concerns were related to OH&S. No offer of helmets for ATV, no head or tail lights on some ATVs even though it was dark when we finished and a few hazards like hoses to negotiate at the toilets.

This trip is amazing, so much fun for all ages. Myself an OAP and 2 grandchildren loved it. The Belly Dancing, the Gentleman tradional dance were amazing, BBQ okay. we didn't take part on the Quad biking nor camel ride but everyone who did enjoyed. The little stalls too were interesting and not overpriced

Booked this trip to start my 60th birthday celebrations
Picked up at le royal meridian (what a fantastic hotel )and was driven to the edge of the desert to take photos before our guide Sahib who I must say was one of the nicest guys I've met always smiling. informative .concerned. and a great driver to start our desert safari.Wow .not used this adjective so much for one holiday
Although really scary whilst driving up and down the dunes Sahib assures you that you are safe. On arrival at the camp camel ride is only a photo shoot experience but you can Sand board as many times as you like.Afte this a henna tattoos food free soft drinks

Loved this tour - great value, well organised and never a dull moment. Got picked up by Alfred right on time at our hotel. Friendly and attentive throughout the trip. Dune bashing was thrilling and scary. Take a travel sickness pill before you go just in case. A few people on our tour got sick. Short stop at a camel farm with a falconry demo. On to the camp for camel rides henna tattoos buggies sand boarding etc. 3 shows (fire dancing tanour belly dance) all of which were great. Buffet food hot fresh and tasty. Would recommend - we had a great time. Photographers took pics and video throughout the tour and you can buy a usb for 105 aed

Ansari was a great and friendly guide! He was a safe driver on the dunes and always made sure we were having fun! Since I was travelling alone, he always offered to take my picture with my phone when we stopped at the desert landmarks or when I was doing the activities (sandboarding, camel riding, etc). The camp was also a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the dance performances were energetic and upbeat. I also had the chance to pose with a falcon, try shisha, and get a henna tattoo. My favourite part of the campsite was when they turned off all the lights for 5 minutes so we could look at the stars in the desert night sky. It was especially memorable because I saw a shooting star that night! Thank you OceanAir, and special thanks to Ansari for an unforgettable experience!

Extremely well run! Excellent driving skills made it enjoyable, safe and seem quite thrilling, despite the relatively low dunes we drove over.
We were picked up by our driver and then driven several miles out of the city to join other vehicles and go into the desert.
After a fairly thrilling ride, we went to a camp and we shown to our seats.
Everything was laid out -there was an incredibly short camel ride, a chance to have a henna tattoo, try the pipe (the name currently escapes me) and then we had a really good BBQ meal. We were taken back to the hotel by 10pm.

This tour is an ABSOLUTE MUST DO! I visited Dubai in October 2017. My group didn't know what we were in for! Dune bashing is a definite adrenaline rusher! I was white knuckling the roll bars in the truck the entire ride. #YIKES First stop photo ops on the high sand dunes. Next stop was the camel farm for a close up encounters. There was a uncaged baby camel roaming through group. The baby was in a lot of selfies! LOL After more dune bashing #WHEW we got to ride the camels and/or go dune buggying. The was a camp site where we they provided a delicious BBQ dinner, drinks and yes alcohol! The entertainment was enjoyed by all - belly, fire and whirling dancers. We tried the Shishas, sandboarding, henna tattoo and even had photo ops with the falcon. The "camels going home" got alot of oohhsss & ahhhhhsss! #beautiful We use 18 4x4s from Orient Tours and the took excellent care of my group! I highly recommend this tour.
