Slight delay on pickup due to heat of the day, but that considerate I feel. Hopped into a land cruiser ready for about an hours drive to the venue. BUT, we were in the 2 seats in the very back, (3rd row) not really ideal for adults, but we were on tarmac so did not seem too bad. When we pulled off road and the air pressure let down in the tyres we all hopped back in, now this is where the shine of the adventure was lost. Being in the very back we were just bumped around and could not see that much, even trying to peer through the middle row passengers to the front we could not see much, it was just a bumping and side to side, up and down it was good but not great in that position. We were in and out of those seats about 5 times not great for ageing knees. The camel ride was just a quick 100m circuit, enough just to experience and to say you have been on a camel.
The camp was clean and tidy not too many people I think it was the time of year, if it was busy it would have been hectic. Toilet facilities were good and clean, the camp site experiences, free water and soft drink and the BBQ meal were excellent. The fire entertainer was good, as was a dancer that spun with lights and was a highlight.
Overall it was worthwhile experience, our experience was only soured by being right in the back, maybe a few more stops with some seat swaps would be a worthwhile consideration by the operator so everyone gets a ride at the front and middle, might just mean more stops
