- Karin374Tallinn, Estonia11 contributionsIf you are on a budget, then skip itIt is a lovely place to visit and i really appreciated the employees explaining about animals in each floor. However, i feel that this experience is not worth the entrance ticket money. Our family was there about an hour, or 1,5 hours, and paid almost 500 dirhams for entrance. We did the junior ranger tasks, which were interesting, but at the end we did not find all the answers from inside and had to google more. I think my son would have liked to seek answers from inside. Noone looked at his answers at the end, they just gave us the pin. It would have been nice if someone would have explained things after as well. We did enjoy the birds and animals and interacting with them.Visited February 2023Travelled with familyWritten 3 March 2023
- Dippy Walnut4 contributionsTotally underwhelming....that took 30mins now what!?Looks wonderful on YouTube but in reality 30 expensive mins and all over and done with. Not nearly as many birds and monkeys as thought their would be and no idea where the Sloath was hiding, perhaps he/she was on a break? A lot of the animals were just one of...one snake, one frog, one spider etc. In conclusion, expensive not worth the money unless you have kids who have never seen a parrot before m. Also, take your own water.....15AED for small water !!!!!!Visited March 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 8 March 2023
- Peter HPezinok, Slovakia12 contributionsNice but nothing really extraordinaryI had bit better expectations from Green Planet. It was nice but comparing to other similar attractions anywhere in a world, it's nothing special. Comparing to other attractions, it's relatively quick to complete all floors and without any upgrades to entry level tickets, there is nothing really special...Visited February 2023Written 14 March 2023
- KentAngelfish209 contributionsCarefully created tropic habitat for birds and animals. Good learning environment. This place pleasantly surprised us! Carefully curated tropical habitat for birds and animals. The more you look, the more you’ll see. Wonderful to be up close to toucans and the bear cat was beautiful. Educative and enjoyable, we learnt as much as the children visiting.Visited May 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 7 May 2023
- Ali AAbu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates73 contributionsWonderful experienceA very beautiful place, so much fun for children. It’s nice to be able to go to a zoo in the heat of summer & they also offer camping nights. The only thing which disappointed me was this time when I went, they asked us to pay for every encounter which wasn’t the case a few years agoVisited April 2023Travelled with familyWritten 10 July 2023
- ArchDubai, United Arab Emirates2 contributionsWeekend at Green PlnetOverall we loved the natural habitat created for the animals and birds. I took the vip tickets which is the same price for adults and children. The only thing that was extra was a small glass with which you could feed fish and photos. Rip off in that sense.. what is so vip in free photos and fish feeding .Visited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 6 August 2023
- Yacoub BSharjah, United Arab Emirates6 contributionsAn experience that I would like to have another timeIt was a very unique experience and very enjoyable, however the night camping did not accommodate for all the people involved regarding the night red lights, and the tour, and the next day feeding. We a paying family of 5 received 2 lights only compared to other couples who received as much as us. Grapes for the Toucan and Lemur feeding the next day ran out quickly before we were able to take any. Guides weren't very deligent as to share equally and we had to always squeeze between people and jump to the front to get involved, otherwise the pathway barely fits 2 adults and logically speaking the guide won't be able to reach out to the full crowd. I would have liked to be immersed more in the experience. Either way, the staff were very friendly, especially Ezaz who was spot on with all his efforts.Visited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 8 August 2023
- DubaiHeadhunter47 contributionsOverpriced experience for a place that has seen better daysThis was my third visit to Green Planet in about 5 years and frankly the most disappointing one so far. The entrance fee has gone up which is not entirely abnormal in the context of rising inflation but the place has clearly seen better days. Some parts inside were covered in drapes which staff told me where due to renovations. The little cave with bats was closed. One of the computer displays didn't work. It all looked tired. Kids went from top to bottom in 25 minutes. The surrounding area is a massive construction site. Kids' play area outside? That's another 25 dirhams please. The Green Planet shop looks like the best-kept part inside. So it seems another attraction has turned into the typical Dubai experience: looks great on Instagram, overpriced but overall underwhelming.Visited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 18 August 2023
- nicholas gDubai, United Arab Emirates2 contributionsNot worth the moneyWas not an ‘experience’ the website promised. From start to finish, (and we took our time), we were finished in 45 minutes! Ticket cost 455AED for 2 adults and 1 x child of 3. Don’t expect too much and you won’t be disappointed!Visited September 2023Travelled with familyWritten 17 September 2023
- Dumbblonde2011Manchester, United Kingdom8 contributionsWorth doing but doesn’t last long.Great interactions with the animals and a fab concept. Would have given 5 stars but I was a bit disappointed that it wasn’t a longer activity: we didn’t rush through at all but we’re still only in the biome about an hour. There is a new play area outside but despite being covered it was still too hot for the kids to play for long.Visited October 2023Travelled with familyWritten 23 October 2023

A great immersive experience with kids and family! A single tree designed in a way to accomodate the numerous animals/birds/insects! Its a wonderful experience with animals up close..though small but its one of a kind! The handout offered along with your ticket acts like a guide to point all animals in the arena! the staff present are more than willing and happy to share additional knowledge! whatever you purchase at the place will go towards the maintenance of these beautiful creatures!
A must visit!

We visited green planet during our holidays in Dubai. It was really beautiful, surreal and interactive being here with all birds and animals roaming freely inside without being caged. We loved it here. One of the highlights of our Dubai holidays. Must visit if you have young kids with you.

Ms Hershie and Ms Franchelle did a fantastic job to host our daughter’s birthday party. It included a tour through Green Planet. The kids loved it. Thank you again for a great day

A building in which a tropical forest is recreated, populated with many exotic animals and birds. The animals are basically domestic, they are not afraid of visitors at all and many of them walk freely among them. However, you are not allowed to touch them in any way, not even to pet them. During the visit, you can even witness the feeding of some of the animals.
You can spend 1-2 very pleasant hours here.

So this place is close by Dubai mall or downtown. It opens at 11am and closes by 6pm.
Total 4 floors are there but before you enter in main building, they have built lot of options for kids to easily spend half an hour before entering into the main building.
You start with top floor and coming down by walking experiencing something new at each floor.
As soon as we stepped outside the lift on top floor a little tweety welcomed us. Then our journey started. We saw so many live birds and pet animals open and on the floor walking with us. Kids just loved this experience of watching live animals after watching it on TV. We couldn't feed birds as it was lunch time. Experienced touching a snake after getting courage from my kids when they touched it. Then we saw too many foxes hanging on the tree. So many snaks caged under the glass. An Ice age character sloth too was climbing very slowly. Then they had a night creatures underground place with an open owl and big Boa. Anaconda cage was empty then some scary creatures which we couldnt name it. Overall great place to enjoy and experience.

I've just come across the green planet and it looks super cool however I'm pressed for time and have to chose between this or the dubai mall aquarium. Not quite the same things but could anyone who has visited both offer their opinion? Green planet or aquarium?
P.s. I know aquarium is pricier and neither are great value for money imo but that's not a consideration in this case.
Thanks in advance

We’ve been to both and if we could only visit one we would go to the aquarium
Both are expensive but there is more to see in the aquarium
It also depends on how close you are
The frame in Dubai is amazing you may not get that experience outside of Dubai
Although no animals an absolutely amazing experience

Hello guys, I would like to know if the Animals there are mistreated or is it more like a zoo? Or like a reserve it is very important for me...

There are 2 sloths and I did not see any monkeys. The birds are free to roam. Except for a few insects and reptiles which are caged. The birds are taken good care of. It is not a zoo but more like a sanctuary. Temperature is well maintained and the whole environment is that of a rain forest. And the birds are well fed. The attendants take good care of the whole place and visitors are not allowed to touch or harm any of the animals
