The area
Neighbourhood: Jumeirah
Years ago, before the skyscrapers, before the 12-lane highway, there was only Jumeirah. In fact, when the UAE was formed, its rulers signed the agreement in Union House, at the very start of Jumeirah Beach Road. Often called “The Beverly Hills” of Dubai, a drive down Beach Road reveals one enormous, lavish villa after another. Originally residential-only neighbourhoods, they are now also home to an array of cafes, smart boutiques, and art galleries. Home to one of Dubai’s few public beaches, this recently renovated area includes a new boardwalk, running and walking track, with changing facilities and cafes along the way. Another landmark, Jumeirah Mosque, is the only mosque in Dubai that can be entered by non-Muslims. As part of the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, the mosque hosts regular tours and talks about Islam, as part of an “Open Doors, Open Minds” program. A wonderful way to understand more about the UAE and Islam.

I went especially for sweet and sour. chicken the dish was spicy not enough sweet sour sauce and chicken dry for price you pay you expect good food unfortunately left disappointed.

Was taken to table by hostess left no waiter came to see if I was ok when waiter came take order and run. Only one small African Lady asked if everything was OK and took time to at least speak to me the customer

Came back this year after its re-opening as was so happy with it last year while on holiday. To be honest had recommended this restaurant to so many people after our visit last year. Was not impressed this year as music was so loud we could not actually hear our friends who were at the same table. The food was OK (we had sushi platters) but thought it was more show than quality food. Did not think it was real value for money this year which is disappointing as its location is superb overlooking the Dubai Marina.

Went to L'Atelier - dull to be honest. It just felt a bit desperate, possibly because they serve alcohol, so its just expats. The food was a mixture, great salad starter and a rather cheesy and doughy pizza after - not equitable with what we were being charged. Terrible music, Great view though.

While visiting the Dubai Marina, we ate at Mama Zonia located in Pier 7. It was an outstanding dining experience highlighted by the incredible views of the Marina from the outdoor dining area. Watching the Marina go from daylight to dusk to night was pretty magical.

Actually it would be a nice location for dining or for simply enjoying a drink. Of course the breath- taking view is worth a visit. Anyway I think a nice location like this deserves also nice service, professional staff and probably more warm-heartedness. The waitress welcomed me with the info about what minimum consumption they expect per table. My gin-tonic came with room temperature and ice in it...so i had to wait until the ice melted and cooled my cocktail down. When I payed the bill the waitress asked me for consideration which I would have given her anyway but to ask for it directly seems so inappropriate at a place that tries to be sophisticated.
I am very sorry about it but i cant give more than 1 star, esspecially after i tried other places like vault or floor 43 that offer a nice view too but with better drinks and friendly staff.

Great location so you are going to get the couples, families, business mix of people in traditional or European clothes.
The view is stunning across the harbour.
The food was average and not great to be honest. Chips, nachos, breaded items with different sauces all from jars. It was like a Carvery or upmarket Mcdonalds.
Improve the quality of food.
Service excellent.

A very high end exclusive dining outlets in Dubai Marina, with 7 different options spread over 7 floors.
They offer stunning views of the Dubai Marina especially at night.
As a once in a while experience considering the prices, its worth it.

Loved the view out of Pier 7, especially that we were living in the opposite direction, in Address Marina Dubai. Food has been ok, service - a mess. I really start believing that is a common problem in Dubai - terrible service. Staff was super friendly and kind, but their service skills should have been improved by trainings and a good manager coordination. Unfortunately, I would recommend this place only for the view and nothing else.

Pier 7 at Dubai Marina is visually stunning at night. You could be mistaken for thinking it was Canary Wharfe! Plenty of restaurants but sadly don’t really cater for vegetarians/vegans. The yachts however are spectacular. A very pleasant way to spend an evening strolling around Dubai marina at the centre of which lies Pier 7 with many restaurants on each floor!
