This is an idyllic location for pictures. Beautiful Mosque and a great spot for sunset pictures; next to the F1 race track and Jeddah Yacht Club Marina. There’s quite a bit of construction, so parking is a little difficult, but the marina is surrounded by very nice upscale restaurants as well. But the sunset pictures of the smallest are out of this world. Highly recommend and you were always see pictures of the smallest in any advertisement for a Jeddah city.

The F1 track being next door, a lot has changed and the surrounding of the mosque doesn't look empty at all. There's now a pier made of concrete just behind, a building behind and another one under construction. Hence the mosque doesn't look like that little cute mosque at sea. The building is still in a very good shape and the inside looks great but there will be buildings and maybe crane on your photo.
Also, the F1 track was undergoing some work and the track itself is barricaded, hence the taxi couldn't reach the mosque. I was dropped of at a random construction site gate about 800m from the mosque and had to wait until 3pm to be allowed to walk in the are.
To get a taxi back you'll have to walk quite a lot towards the city where there's more traffic.

The mosque was beautiful above the water , it is totally different from the mosque that we have been . But the weather is a way too hot. We went around 5pm , still burning hot by walking there, you will easily get heat stroke by staying under the sun for a while. We could only stayed there for 20 minutes and ran away from it. But have to say the view and structure was fabulous ! Would recommend go after 6 or 7 pm during sunset time , would be more beautiful and cooler.

Lovely visit to masjid rahmah just before sunset.

Stunning location and interior. Unfortunately maintenance of the building has been left to wither and one hopes this improves.

Great visit, even to sit near it on the coastline. Well recommended.

Did not. meet my expectation. Part of the Mosque is supported by pillars that is in the sea. The area is all cordoned off because of the Grand Prix circuit and therefore long walk to get to the mosque, also because of the block roads not easy for the taxi guy to get there. On the way back no Taxi and Uber/careem and bolt can be difficult to get

The Al Rahma mosque is situated at the north end of the corniche. It was built in 1985.
At the time of my visit it was quite difficult to get access to.
You cannot get close in a car. At present it necessitates parking some distance from the mosque and walking down the corniche to where it is.
I visited in the evening. The mosque was beautifully lit and looked serene in its position over the sea.
The mosque is very beautiful and provides some wonderful photo opportunities.
Despite not being able to see inside, I really enjoyed walking around the outside.
The sea breezing and the gentle lapping of the water only added to my overall experience.
I was told one of the nicest times to visit is at sunset.

The idea of a floating mosque sounds very magical, so I made the trip up there in North Jeddah. To be honest, I felt a bit let down. The mosque itself is small and not terribly interesting, save for part of it being built on piers, but it is otherwise not really memorable.

Terribly disappointed to not see the mosque as we had intended walking the length of the North Corniche in the evening. and finishing up there. The F1 track is currently being organised in the same vicinity and although we consulted Google maps we could not find a way in.

Jeddah or Uroos al Bahar is a largest city along the red sea, being a gateway to two holiest cities of Saudi Arabia it is also the busiest city of the kingdom. The Jeddah Cornish is the most beautiful area of the city with many sculptures and fascinating surround along with the cold water of red sea. There are many beautiful mosques build along the sea but the most visited and popular among them is the floating mosque. Build in such a way that it looks like the mosque is floating on the water, the beautiful interior and attractive exterior attracts all the visitor toward it. I recommend everyone to visit Jeddah Cornish and specially the floating mosque. Remember that in summer the weather in the kingdom is very hot and humid in Jeddah, so it is better to visit it after sunset.
