Its always a pleasure to be there day or night. I typically go there an hour before sunset. the buildings will be lit with wonderful light then, but you will witness the transition to night mood. You can enter some of the houses and there are tour guides to take you around. Oriental Perfums and gold are are the most... More

The room on the hotel are quit old even the furniture & the bungalow as well. But the garden & swiming pool are really nice especially the bungslow with the green arround. For kids really nice , food is nice as well a lot to offer, smelling jasmine flower on the breakfast outside, overall it's nice & customer servicecreally great.

I have been to the Ballad on several occasions. It is a magical place to visit with all the old buildings. We have purchased some beautiful paintings done by Dorothy Boyer. She sat for many hours drawing and painting this historical place.

The go to place in Jeddah for all shooping if you desire, but to find a parking and get in there and to do it on your own is going to be challenging. the major souks are nestled around balad, and so the place is very populous. Decent eateries also in the area.
