You can't miss this Temple for a wonderful glimpse into the traditional and spiritual Buddhist lifestyle.

This place is beautiful. Open space, Nice temples, details to admire. So much gold, colors and Buddhas. A lot of money has been spent to bring it all back to its former glory.

It us an amazing temple complex. The mosaics on some of the walls tell fascinating stories. The Main temple is magnificent. We were lucky enough to see a photo shoot of a couple in traditional wedding attire.

We visited in low season. The temple is made out of many buildings. All very beautifully decorated. Hire a guide to understand what you are looking at if you are interested.

Not to be missed. Great location to chat with the Monks and take photos. Without doubt one of the nicest temples in LP. Very colourful.

This temple is really nice, just near the river where you can park the motorbikes. It's quite an interesting place to see Lao architecture.

Have a good walk around the Wat Xieng Thong. Sitting under the tree and observe how people pray and worship. A lot of people and try to go as early as possible. It is very hot in the afternoon.

This is a lovely, well maintained and very accessible temple complex. There are no information signs or guides so if you have a travel book, bring it along. There is an entry fee and you need to keep hold of your ticket
