Tamarind cooking school was a great experience. The venue is beautiful, the instruction very well done and the result delicious. I would highly recommend this as an activity while visiting wonderful Luang Prabang.

Steven, Enjoyed your write up of your experience with the "Travel to Laos" agency in Luang Prabang. I am planning to go there this year but cannot seem to locate them on the internet. Do you have a web site address for them? I'd like to sign up with them for a guided tour/s of L.P. Thanks so much! Fred Knoth Downey, CA USA

I will be in Luang Prabang from the 5th till 13th October and would like to find out about the best day tours available. (No elephant riding please as I have done a lot of that). Mainly interested in day trips to scenic falls or villages and cultural activities. Thanks.
