I normally avoid markets when I travel. They all contain the same stuff from China. This market is great lots of hand made stuff and things I hadn’t seen before. The food stalls are cheap and fresh - coconut pancakes all the way. Great vibe...More

One of the highlights of our trip! We love all the local handicrafts being sold here. They were quite affordable too. A must-go when one visits Luang Prabang!

If you’ve been to night markets in other Asian cities, then this is not much different except perhaps for the goods sold. The stalls are repetitive with their goods, so if you like something then do the walk, ask prices and then offer about 2/3...More

We so enjoyed the experience. It is worth asking around for prices as the price for the same item can vary. Compared to other markets in Laos we found the quality and variety of this market was greater.

A good market sprawling over the block. Clothes, jewellery, and one another souvenir type to buy, including food as well as beverage stalls at both ends. Costs are competitive because a lot of stalls sell similar or perhaps identical issues, and you're able to definitely...More

These would have to be the most calm markets we have been to. Stall holders happy to chat and do not push for sales or barter aggressively.

We loved the market and got some great bargains, we didn’t insult them as some people did by refusing to budge on things that are cheap at full Price!

Having visited many markets on our travels around Asia I wasn't expecting much from LP's night market. It was however a very enjoyable experience. Lots and lots of stalls and although there are a lot of similar offerings, you're out under no pressure to buy...More
