Went on the Nava Mekong river cruise and for $25 it is a great value. The guides were warm and welcoming and seeing the retired buddhas was a worthwhile trip. Additionally the food on the way back was filling and delicious. We had soup, local steamed fish, fresh fruit and more. I highly recommend taking a river cruise with Nava... More

Absolutely to be recommended! If you stay at The Villa Maly you will be taken to the boat and back by TukTuk. The boat is in good shape; staff perfectly polite, serving a good Lao meal and drinks. As it is a reasonably priced tour, we would ever go again ! Good experience !

We spent a very pleasant time on the Nava Mekong. It is a clean, comfortable boat which cruises leisurely to the Pak Ou Caves, stopping at a whisky village on the way. Great time out from the "hustle and bustle" of the city, and it is so much cooler on the river. The staff were helpful and friendly. The meal... More

We booked this river cruise via our hotel (Villa Maly). Cost is usd 25 pp but they gave us a 10% discount. It was great value for money!!! Beautiful boat, 4 hs cruising through stunning mekong river with one stop on a small village where they make whiskey and scarves and the second stop was on the Pak Ou caves... More

Worth the price! Comfortable way to see the Pak Ou caves, and the Mekong riverside. Well trained staff, well maintained boat, not the best- but good food. The whole trip is well organized. We enjoyed it! The only negative for us, that we asked private table for 2 in email, what they refused, but on the boat we saw, even... More

This is the best way to see Pak Ou caves. For $25USD you get very professional staff and great clean and well presented boat. It takes a little over 2 hours to get to the caves with a stop on the way at the Wiskey village. (Beware of the 55% proof sample Wiskey). You get about 1 hour walking around... More

We went with a group on this cruise. The boat was very clean and the table and chairs comfortable. The scenery along this stretch is very interesting and we had a delicious meal. We stopped at the whisky village and the Buddha caves from which there were some excellent views. Definitely worth doing.

This cruise provides authentic fresh local food on a comfortable boat and very attentive staff. The cruise visited the caves nearby where there are Buddas of various sizes.

We have done the Mekong cruises many times, but this is really worth the 25$ for a beautiful boat, professional crew, delicious Lao lunch and stops at Buddha Cave and the Whiskey-making village. Highly recommend!

We booked a tour by email directly to Nava Mekong. Everything went well. No need payment in advance. Tour start at 10.00 and finish at 14.00. Lunch served on the boat when cruising back to Luang Prabang. Only one thing i dont like, they set all table as a group of 4. 4 seat for 1 table. If you are... More
