- StanislavTbilisi, Georgia20 contributionsBest experience with Asif. The company provided two-days guided tour for my group. It was amazing experience of Lahore sightseeing. We had an amazing guide, his name is Asif. He knows his business and Lahore phenomenally. We often changed the plan slightly, and he always easily adapted the plan for us.Visited October 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 18 October 2023
- Janet S11 contributionsKhewra Salt Mine & temples tourWe wanted to see something outside the city & this tour fitted the bill. It is a long drive & fog delayed us, but seeing all the scenes of rural life along the way made it very interesting & worthwhile. We particularly loved all the decorated trucks, works of art! The road back from Khewra is very rough & dusty so be prepared for a bumpy ride! The temple complex had a very ancient & peaceful atmosphere. The salt mine was fascinating, it was especially surprising to see an asthma resort there! Shahid Yousaf was a kind, courteous & very knowledgeable guide. - Mehdi Z3 contributionsExcellent Guided TourSuperb 2 days guided tour of the city by Shaheed. The itinerary is well thought and optimized to maximize time and see as much as possible. It is truly a cultural immersion into the history, gastronomy and local day to day activities of the population. Shaheed is very punctual and understood quickly what I was interested in seeing and photographing. He is very easy going, with a great sense of humor, and I enjoyed our conversations throughout the 2 days. I recommend him to anyone visiting Lahore.Visited December 2023Travelled soloWritten 9 December 2023
- DAL504Seattle, Washington501 contributionsAn all-around good day in LahoreI will start by saying that I had a really good day in Lahore with Shahid. I appreciated the flexibility to cater the day to cover all the things I wanted to see without feeling rushed or that we missed out on anything key. When I wanted to include the border ceremony, Shahid was more than happy to adjust the program so that we had time to make it there. Shahid was a wealth of knowledge and shared it at every turn. I feel I got a real sense of the city and plenty of time to ask questions both at the sites and in the car in between. I would not hesitate to recommend Shahid if you are looking for a knowledgeable and friendly local guide in Lahore.Visited January 2024Travelled soloWritten 30 January 2024

- Michael W2 contributionsFantastic experience with ShahidI had a fantastic time in Lahore am incredibly thankful that I contacted Shahid. I arrived in Lahore after having attended a wedding in Karachi and I almost didn't make it into the country, but for Shahid helping me with some last minute visa issues (getting me the requested forms within 24 hours). I did two days of touring with Shahid and Umar and was very appreciative of Shahid's knowledge of history. He does not just provide a stock tour either; he quickly picked up that I like greenspaces and adapted the tour to show me some hidden gardens throughout the city. As other reviews have indicated, Shahid is very friendly and kind, as is everyone I met during my visit to Pakistan. I fully recommend contacting Shahid for a tour (travelpakistan66@gmail.com or on WhatsApp at +923004287493). He is very quick to respond. I used Shahid for a tour that covered Lahore and Peshawar. The tour in Lahore was comprehensive, covering all the sites and giving me a real sense of different parts of the city, from the Wall City, the Badshahi Mosque, the Wazir Khan Mosque, and even the Tomb of Emperor Jahangir across the river. The company's professionalism was evident from the start - planning the trip was easy. Shahid (the company owner) was very responsive and flexible in planning the tour, especially when I had to reschedule several times due to covid. The fully-customized tour included a tour and hotel in Peshawar, transportation to Lahore (including a stop at the historic city of Taxila), and tours and hotel in Lahore (including the Wagah border ceremony). The tours and guides were engaging and interesting. Shahid listened to all my preferences and customized the tour accordingly. All aspects of the trip went smoothly, and the driver and car were also great. The tour gave me a great perspective on this fascinating country, and I recommend this company for anyone looking to do any sort of tour in Lahore and throughout Pakistan.

I am in love with Lahore though I have not been born there, nor I visited the city before. The reason why I adore Lahore so much is because of its history. The periods and auras this city has witnessed in the past. So, after getting married, we (me and my wife) both decided to have a detailed tour of this beautiful city called Lahore (Lohr in Punjabi). I started searching for a tour guide on Google who can help us in understanding the history, monuments, architecture, and systems of this city. There, I got to know about Mr. Shahid Yousaf (Lahore Guided Tour), I called him and booked a two day guided tour. We have visited Lahore fort, Minar-e-Pakistan, Badshahi Mosque, Tomb of Mughal Emperor Jehangir, Tomb of Asif Jahan (both are in Shahdra), and Wagah Border on first day. You know what, Shahid bhai has a plethora of knowledge about Lahore, everyone on the place know him very well. He gave us some very insightful information and above all he is absolutely friendly. The second day, we visited Lahore Museum, Pak Tea House, Akbari Mandi, Delhi Gate, Shahi Hamam, Wazir Khan Mosque, Surjan Singh Street where we entertained with the folklore and had a refreshment of Khalifa Nan Khatai with tea in Usman ki baithak. Oh! amazing experience! Shahid bhai is great! He remain calm and compose then we had a lunch at Mohammadi Nehari and approached to Shalimar Gardens (our last committed spot). I requested Shahid bhai then to drop us at the Food Street (Haveli Restaurant) and bid adieu from him with the promise to meet again with more detailed visit of Lahore. Amazing Memories of Lahore, me and my wife enjoyed a lot and this could not be possible without the efforts of Shahid Yousaf. I have attached some pictures for you to enjoy! I definitely recommend Lahore Guided Tours for trustworthiness, awesome behavior, punctuality, and in-depth knowledge. Shahid Bhai will meet again inshaAllah!

My guide, Sajjad Anwer, was bursting with energy and knows the old city like the back of his hand! Not only did he possess deep historical knowledge of key sites, but also deftly navigated through labyrinthine side streets to lesser frequented gems. When Sajjad wasn't regaling me with highlights from his time as a cricket commentator and weight lifter, he serenaded with Bollywood anthems. His zest for Lahore's deep cultural heritage is only matched by his passion for its religious diversity and multi-ethnic tapestry. I could not recommend Sajjad more highly as someone who truly brings this special corner of the world to life!!

We booked a guided tour with Azam who was amazing and very informative about the whole city fo Lahore and the history of Pakistan. It was my wife's first time in Pakistan and he managed to explain he history and the meanings of all of the sites we saw in a very informed way. He even took us to some of the sites that we would not normally see and enabled us to experience the real Lahore. Overall a fantastic tour guide with great English and one I would recommend highly..

Shahid Yousaf proved an excellent guide. His work at the Fort and experience as a historian as well as a tour guide was invaluable, and led to a full day of walking and driving around Lahore's sights, even meeting a local resident in his own home in the crowded, high density old town. All arrangements went to plan, from collection at my hotel in the morning through to drop back in the afternoon after a visit to the border ceremony. Well recommended!

I visited Lahore around New Year. It's an understatement to say that he delighted me. In fact, everything in Pakistan is one big, positive surprise. The city is beautiful, full of historical monuments, and the kindest people. On the first day I realized that the only problem was the size of the city and that without a good guide I would not be able to see all the sights. I was helped by Mr. Shahid, one of the best guides I have ever had. I would wholeheartedly recommend him to everyone. It was only thanks to him that I got to know Lahore the right way. He showed me things I didn't even know existed there.... He is a true representation of typical Pakistani hospitality. He knows everything about the history of the Mughal Empire, but also about all the things that interest you. He personally recommended the best sellers of precious stones to me, for which I am very grateful. If anyone wants to know Lahore at the best price and with complete enjoyment, please contact Mr. Shahid on +92 300 4287493. I am already planning to return to Pakistan.

Shahid took my family on a multi-day tour of Lahore tourist attractions back in the summer of 2019. We were so grateful for his flexibility, especially as my children weren’t always able to withstand the heat. He was very understanding and was happy to accomodate our pace. He did an incredible job showing us the sites, often taking us behind-the-scenes and showcasing the secrets of each place (from the whispering walls of the Badshahi Masjid to the glowing gems at Jahangir’s tomb). I appreciated his wealth of knowledge and he brought these monuments to life, describing in vivid detail what these places were like at the height of their splendor. I hope to use his services next time I go to explore the Walled City once again.

Shahid was the guide for our group of travellers from Great Britain. He took us on a two day tour around Lahore which we really really enjoyed. He was flexible on the schedule and itinerary and he changed the schedule to suit what we wanted to do. Shahid is hugely knowledgeable and very passionate about history and culture. He was very laid-back and he took us into the local markets and eateries to get a flavour of modern local life as well as the rich culture and history of the city. It was exactly what we wanted to do, we really would recommend Shahid as we enjoyed ourselves greatly - 10 out of 10!

Mr. Yousaf is a very pleasant person and very knowledgeable guide. I've learnt a lot of interesting and useful facts about Pakistan history and todays life. I had a tour to Rohtas Fort from Lahore with a transfer to Islamabad afterwards. All went smoothly. Would be great to have a bit more time for the fort, however road took a lot of time, so I cannot complain here. Need to mention Shahid's excellent driving skills, calm and measured, a great contrast comparing to organized chaos on Pakistani roads :) I felt safe and comfortable. Excellent communication before the tour, I got detailed answers to all my questions without any delays. I would definitely recommend the company and its owner for any activities in Punjab and Pakistan.

Hi!
I read the reviews and since then I'm planning to take a tour to the walled city. I wanted to know the package details for guided tour of Lahore walled city. Which sites and facilities will be included for a 1 day tour?
Written 17 November 2018
This can depend completely on you. I booked with Mr Shahid quite late and had researched Lahore quite heavily. I chose what I wanted to do and Mr Shahid followed it adding his own touches and additional sites. If it’s your first time in Lahore then maybe Mr Shahid can put something together for you. My day started with a traditional Lahore breakfast and went on to include:
- Lahore Fort
- Baadshai Mosque
- Walled City including additional associated sites
- Wazir Khan Mosque
- We had dinner at Cuckoos Den where the terrace overlooked the Baadshai Mosque
- Finished off at Anarkali Bazaar (local market).
We had a great day but you can tailor your day to whatever suits. You might want to include Wagah Border.
Whatever you choose, I’m sure Mr Shahid will provide you with a fantastic experience.
