Part of our tour.

Quite an impresive building. It was to hot so we didnt look all round. Quite a lot of steps to get to the top.

This pagoda is the most magnificent among the pagodas located around the base of Mandalay Hill. From an aerial perspective, the gilded stupa occupies a central position of focus and the hundred of glaring white pagodas with the inscriptions of the Buddha sutras symmetrically surrounds the central stupa in an architecturally proportional setting like hundred of devout followers worshipping the... The temple includes hundreds of smaller pagodas, each of which houses a stone tablet of Buddhist scripture. The effect of all these carefully aligned pagodas is perhaps most striking as you are walking down Mandalay Hill than viewed up close.

Each one of these hundreds of small pagoda shaped buildings house a chapter of the Buddha's teaching inscribed on stone plates.

This is a miniature version of Kuthodaw Pagoda's white stupas. They're still big though. It's fairly quiet compared to Kuthodaw so you can always take the time to walk around and take more pictures. The view from here of Mandalay Hill is quite impressive as well.

This "big book" seems more condensed than Kudhodaw and I found it to be more clean and easier on your feet. The views with Mandalay Hill in the background are also nice. You can't actually go into the small pagodas which contain the "book" but you will be lead into the larger pagoda in the middle of it. Nice and... More

Really enjoyed strolling round here. The uniformity and white colour of the stupas make for a calming influence. The Buddhist Scriptures are also very impressive. Lovely experience.

A lovely place to wander around and view the beautiful white Stupas which are all aligned in rows. Very picturesque. Not very busy so you can wander and enjoy the sights.

One of the best attraction I saw in Mandalaw as it is simple but beautiful. I just liked to walk through, this is such a beautiful experience. For me, it was the best of all I have seen.

Has a unique Buddha image, and its surrounding Stupa’s make it more of an attraction, but is best viewed in conjunction with the neighboring Kuthodaw Pagoda, than on its own.
