Not huge, but an impressive collection of ancient relics, with an emphasis on impressively intact mosaics. The grounds are historically important and very attractive, and almost no one was there when we went.

This is inside the kasbah. It has quite a large collection of wonderful Roman mosaics that are just as good as those in the Bardo. It’s an underrated museum that is really interesting to visit.

The Kasbah is very good, well worth visiting and bigger than I was expecting. Inside there is a museum with lots of mosaics

The museum is a spectacular building with vast layout and landscape. Mainly houses a large collection of the hadrument mosaics and some artefacts. The burial chambers are empty could do with placing prototypes for visitors to reimagine the ritual. The tower at the back is closed but you can climb steep steps adjacent to tomb antic and have a breathtaking panoramic view of the medina. The museum is quite empty when visited. No cafe or shop available. 10 tunis dinar entrance fee.

Wonderful place to know the history in the area. Although the museum is not exquisite as say MET, it serves its purpose wonderfully.

A well-managed museum in the wonderful setting of a kasbah above the Susa medina. It exhibits unique, well-preserved ancient artifacts, everything is very clearly arranged and mostly well described. A certain disadvantage is that the objects in some halls are described only in Arabic and French. You can freely walk through the kasbah and enjoy the view of the city, or relax in the pleasant garden. This is an absolutely unique monument available for a few dinars.

I'm not usually "into" museums but as we were with a group and this was on our agenda I decided to go . It is magnificent . The mosaics are absolutely stunning. I can honestly say I have never enjoyed a museum visit as much as this one. It is beautifully laid out and full of amazing pieces which you can even touch. Highly recommended.
