walking along the corniche is not the most preferable experience in Alexandria. It is very busy with cars and their fumes. Since they forbid the honking by cars people use biglights now to greet each other. Not my favorite spot of the city

Alexandria Corniche is the longest corniche in the world, a road about 20 km length between city and the beach with no borders or obstacles.

Runs along the Mediterranean Sea. Perfect place for a waterfront stroll. The breeze…the brilliantly blue sea…the wide sidewalk. There are several restaurants where you can enjoy fresh seafood.

Good stopover, home of the wife's cartouche. Remember this hotel to be open, spacious with great views of the Med.

Wanna have an awesome walk in Alexandria,Corniche is your best choice. It was very delightful for me to walk 8 Kms every day for three days in the wonderful weather in October.

During our group tour of Egypt during October, 2016, we visited Alexandria. We drove on the sea-side road several times during sightseeing of Alexandria. The crescent shaped seaside promenade - the Corniche - is the Necklace of Alexandria.

It is the best place for me to relax and have a very long walk ... you breath fresh air and keep walking between sea side and other side you can see the full alexandria city.
